All great except poor AC.
Pros:

Five minute walk from Central train station so great for a short stay. Wonderful Danish modern decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Attached restaurant served fabulous breakfast. Best coffee we had, and that’s saying a lot. Comfy bed.

Cons:

The AC barely worked and Copenhagen was having a heat wave. Fix that and it would rate a 10.

Pros:

The room was very stylish, with 1950s furniture and lots of information about the mid-centuary design trends they were inspired by.

Cons:

The electricals in the room are unlike any I've seen before. Every combination of light-switches seemed to control different lights. Sometimes the top switch would control the bathroom, sometimes the bedroom lights. Sometimes you had to have the corridor light on to turn the bathroom lights on, sometimes you didn't. I honestly don't know HOW they did it.

Excellent staff and wonderful facility (minus a few flaws)
Pros:

The hotel was conveniently located to the areas of Copenhagen that we wanted to visit. Staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful with suggestions for eating, coffee etc

Cons:

The ac was sub par. We ended up leaving the window open which created a lovely breeze but the noise from the street was very loud - if I were to visit again (and I would) I would request a room that was not street side

Location was perfect, the staff was very friendly

Cons:

The room was very old and need maintenance, it had the heavy spell of mold, and I understood after why, the bath had a problem with plumbing, the water was getting out of it, as we took shower late I didn't what to change the room or fix thus matter at midnight, and we stayed actually only 1 night

But the room wasn't really clean and need maintenance

Island hotel was amazing after leaving this place
Pros:

Leaving it, first a/c broken, gave us a new room folk of mould,next day asked reception if they can get hold of of management so I can get a refund for last 2 nights he was not helpful and said I was very aggressive ( I said I would switch places with a homeless person as his conditions would be better than here), message 4 hours later ( no answer) got back at 4pm now no running cold water and lift broken and there still checking in people ( disgusting) no running cold water and staff said I can show u were to go and have a swim ,it hot I would like to have a shower and she said I can’t help you ( she broke down as no help from management) finally got a refund (3other couples had to do the same when I was there. I’ve stayed at hundreds of places and this places is a disgrace, I’ve never left a bad review

Cons:

A/c broken, no running cold water, lift broken,staff NOT helpful , manager finally now tells me I’m never allowed back to one of there hotels because I was aggressively towards staff ( never raised my voice , never swore at them) if saying a homeless person is better off then me in this place aggressively so be it and girl later crying we were comforting her she was let down by management

Pros:

The hotel was easy to find. Rooms were spacious, staff were great. Nice furniture and location was just close enough to walk to central station. Overall it is a nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Noise filtered in from outside though not a super big problem. Showers were tiny and water tend to wet the entire bathroom. Lastly minor point but steps up to the hotel foyer which is a minor though obvious issue for those with larger suitcases.

The room maintenance issues significantly affected the quality of our stay.
Pros:

Staff over there are very nice and responsive. The location is quite good.

Cons:

Our first night got off to a rough start. The bathroom in our original room had a very strong, unpleasant smell that made it difficult to stay in. To their credit, the front desk staff responded promptly and arranged an upgrade to a larger room.

Sadly, the upgraded room came with its own problem — the air conditioning was not working effectively, and the room became uncomfortably hot. We returned to the front desk for assistance and were provided with a portable fan, which unfortunately did little to improve the situation, and we had a very uncomfortable night.

We hope the hotel will take note of these maintenance issues, as the staff's responsiveness deserves better support from the facilities themselves.

Cons:

We arrived and there was no room for us even though we had a reservation. The Hotel Alexander sent us to another hotel that was 15 minutes away. They promised to send a taxi to take us to the station on the day we were scheduled to leave, but no taxi arrived. We had to ask about it, and then they finally called the taxi.

Great place in the center of Copenhagen, in a house with a history.

Cons:

It was quite hot in the room, it was necessary to have the AC on all the time. The soap containers were broken and mind the step into the bathroom because it was sharp.
