Great service
Pros:

This place was excellent largely because of Gabriel, the concierge. He not only assisted us with restaurants reservations and directions but helped us secure theater tickets and taxis. His restaurant recommendations were spot on and he was quick to assist with luggage. He went beyond expectations in helping me trying to find a particular item in various stores. He was exceptional!

A lovely hotel
Pros:

Close to South Kensington tube and handy for the Albert Hall. Lovely period hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

They have changed from a wonderful à la carte breakfast to a buffet breakfast which is nice but just not the same experience.

Comfort top notch and the most lovely staff
Pros:

What a lovely hotel in a perfect spot near the tube in South Kensington. We stayed in the heatwave and were so relieved to have been found a room with air con after our original room air con had broken. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we were staying for a wedding locally. But a huge mention to all the staff from reception and concierge who made us so welcome! The staff were superb and this is what makes the experience so much better. Pretty toiletries and extras in the room made our stay so comfortable. The bed and pillows made for a restful sleep. The porter found me a hand steamer the minute we arrived so I could decrease my dress. Thank you so much to the concierge who ran down the street to hail us a taxi so quickly when we were running late in the heat and didn’t want to walk to the church. You were a star. Can highly recommend this hotel and hope we will stay again when in the area.
