Worst experience in my life

I reached at 11:50pm at location then receptionist guy give me keys for the room and when I entered in a room it was used room so much messy and dirty,i am attaching the pics and when i go back to receptionist he said he dont know about that and he said he dont have any other room to stay so i can refund you so i tell them where i can find the room at 12am now i was with my family 3 member then they gave me one bed and one soofa bed room set and i am literally telling i know how i spend my night at Spring mattress on soofa bed, then i left hotel at morning 6am, i am just requesting to hotel please return my money. Thanks

The hotel itself was fine, however the surrounding location and people it attracts isn't great.
Pros:

The room itself was fine and comfortable. The staff were nice and communicated well. Close walk to the ByWard market which was a bonus but also left us in a sketchier neighbourhood.

Cons:

Got woken up at 4am to other guests screaming at each other in the hall. Made the hotel feel really unsafe. We were only staying there one night but had we booked longer we probably would've switched stays. There was a slight weird smell in the hall and the location made it feel questionable if walking at night.

Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Pros:

The most disgusting experience I've ever had in a hotel. I could tell you what I found on my hotel floor, on the walls, behind the couch, in the bed and inside my end table - but you would throw up.

Clean, good locarion. Safe parking available.
Pros:

Spot to be at. Right in Ottawa DT. Junkies are not hotels problem. All the downtown throught out major canadaian cities are full of them.

Our stay in there was nice, staff were very approachable. Highly recommended.
Pros:

The place is really clean and close to Downtown.

Cons:

The only thing is that there Wi-fi was not working good. There was an error in connecting to it during our 2nd day in there.

It was a nice and comfortable room, but the area and security everywhere made us doubt we'll return
