Pros:

The complimentary snack bag at check-in was very thoughtful after a long drive, the bed was comfortable, the room had a microwave, fridge and was spacious, the breakfast on site was convenient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our 2 night stay was pretty much as expected, which was clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Included breakfast was convenient, hot and good.
The hotel was clean, but a bit worn down. However, the room (215) had clearly been updated at some point.
The TV was a smart TV, which was nice, and a nice, big size.
The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient!!

Cons:

Need a place to hang towels in the bathroom.
The tub had a couple of dings in the enamel.
The sink did not drain properly; it drained very slowly and clearly needs the drain cleaned.
The bar fridge needs to be raised a centimeter so that the door doesn't drag on the carpet

Does the basics well.
Pros:

Decent sized room with 2 queen beds, large TV with good choice and good coffee maker. Separate walk in shower. Waffle maker at breakfast, with good buffet selection. Possible to walk into town for restaurants (15 minutes, crossing main road outside).

Cons:

Fitness room did not appeal - limited equipment and ventilation.
Parking access to rear of hotel useful for unloading car, but it's not been resurfaced for some time.
TV has separate cable box - no instructions as to how to set it up. Had to involve reception.
No safe in room.
