Sensible Choice in a Nice Neighborhood
Pros:

Safe, convenient location within walking distance of beautiful Washington Park rose gardens, as well as trendy shops/restaurants on 23rd & 21st Aves. Room was updated and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great, affordable place to stay
Pros:

It is a great place to stay if you want to stay at an affordable, clean and comfortable place. The personnel is very helpful and there is free parking in a city where parking is expensive.

Amazing!
Pros:

We always stay here when we’re in Portland. The location is great, close to Washington park, downtown, 23rd Street, Powells, the metro…
Staff is always helpful and smiling! Beds are comfortable, and we love having a kitchenette for breakfast and snacks. Zupans and Fred Meyer are close to purchase food items. There are plenty of restaurants close by on 23rd and Pizza Kat on Burnside is one of our favorites.
Washington park is absolutely beautiful. The Rose Garden and Japanese Garden are spectacular. Once we found the Park Lane suites, we have never looked for another place to stay!

Excellent
Pros:

This is the absolute best place to stay in Portland. I will be staying here for every visit from now on. The suite (room 411) was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. I appreciate the complementary water and juice and oatmeal in the room. Water pressure was good and stayed hot. I appreciate that parking is not only available, but included. This hotel is phenomenal and I truly hope it stays as is. The staff was wonderful, kind, efficient without being abrupt. One of the lovely women even had a suggestion for Multnomah Falls and I got to share Council Crest Park with her. In any case, I am grateful for the people, place, and experience. After coming for years to Portland for medical care, as well as fun getaways, I am finally done hotel hopping. This is the best place I’ve been to. (Pics are the morning of checkout, sorry for the mess)

clean, comfy!
Pros:

Staff were all very friendly and lovely; the location was great, I could walk to everywhere I needed to go. The beds were remarkably comfortable, even the pull-out sofa! Everything was clean and relatively easy.

We had two suites booked separately, and I really cannot say enough nice things about the staff in making everything work out for us!

Cons:

There are no chains/manual locks on the doors, which when you have a 2 year old in your group who likes to explore it can be *very* problematic -- there was no way to secure the doors from the inside. The key card locks also did not work well; you have to slam the door shut for the key cards to be able to work, otherwise you are trapped and cannot get back in.

Wifi wasn't very good; it kept cutting out and was extremely laggy

The wifi was not great, tbh. It cut in and out and lagged quite a bit.

Great location, poor internet (if you have an iPad) and parking (if a game is one at Providence Park).
Pros:

Park Lane is a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. Unfortunately, parking is extremely tight when a game is played at nearby Providence Park (aka Civic Stadium). Parking is restricted to hotel guests, but that restriction does not appear to be enforced. In addition, the hotel’s wifi DOES NOT WORK with iPads, unless a staff member magically reconfigures your device. Not everyone at the desk knows how to do that, and I don’t have the time or patience to do it myself. I’ve stayed at the Park Lane before and I will do so again, but this issue is something that hotel management is aware of and should address.

Family friendly in an unbeatable location
Pros:

Unless there's some need for us to stay on the other side of the river when visiting Portland, we will always stay here. It's such a good value for an incredibly convenient location in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Being so close to Washington Park and having dog-friendly rooms are huge selling points. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The suites, while not luxurious by any means, are perfect for the price point. Great for families.
