Cons:

Alles in allem hat uns das Hotel nicht besonders gefallen. Die Zimmer sind zwar geräumig, aber mittlerweile abgewohnt. Es müsste sehr dringend renoviert werden. Gerade das Badezimmer hat es besonders nötig. Ärgerlich waren auch die oft langen Wartezeiten am Aufzug bzw. die Dysfunktion, die dazu führte, dass der Aufzug zwischen der 1. und 3. Etage nicht funktionierte.

Would look further afield next time I’m in Honolulu.

Cons:

We believed we had rented a jr suite but it was just a normal room on a higher floor. Very small and very tired. Desperately in need of an uplift. Restaurant prices excessive.

Pros:

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the years and we love the location at the quiet end of Waikiki. Our air conditioning was glitching and the staff was able to fix it within minutes.

Great location!
Pros:

The location is great! Just across the street from the beach and there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel.

Cons:

There were no extra amenities like slippers, shower cap, etc. Only the basic shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Room cleanliness was also not so good. There were a few pieces of paper and hair on the floor and there was a beer can left inside the ref, probably from the previous occupant.

Great hotel in a great location.
Pros:

We had an oceanfront room on a high floor so the view from our room and balcony was amazing and cost much less than similar rooms in the area. The pool and bar area were great and the staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel is located in a good spot for shops and places to eat and is directly opposite the beach, we definitely have no complaints.

Cons:

Some areas looked a little "tired" but that did not detract from the great time we had there. Should we get the opportunity to go to Honolulu again this hotel will be the first place we'll try for availability.
