Friendly staff. And a lovely atmosphere. Made our dog very welcome
Breakfast was just OK
Room was modern and facilities were clean. Hotel has an old fashioned charm.
Beer wasn’t well kept. Bought a pint but only drank half. Went to the tap room down the road instead. Didn’t eat there as the place has a poor reputation with the locals. Maybe it’s great, but trip advisor and local advice suggested otherwise.
On a lot
Great location, bar was good with reasonable prices.
Private free parking a bonus.
Bathroom was really large with a great walk in shower.
Breakfast (£10) was really poor, (only ate it on 1st day) swimming in oil, note for the chef, stop deep frying everything, the hash browns were like oily sponges and the large mushroom was akin to a kids paddling pool, even the bacon looked like it had been in the fryer.
I pointed out to the waitress lipstick on one of the cups and she basically shrugged her shoulders.
Bed wasn't too comfortable.
I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was much better.
Location and easy access, parking at the rear of the hotel. Friendly staff
The rooms were a bit dated and need modifications, cooked breakfast wasn’t good, greasy plate, all the food was deep fried.
Earlier time for breakfast on weekends, ie 7.00 am or 7.30 am. 8.00 am too late.
Super friendly staff, great location and a delicious evening meal, thank you
All good nothing not to like
BREAKFAST WAS ENORMOUS!!! VERY GOOD PORTIONS EXCELLENT SHOWER WITH RAINFALL HEAD AND LOVELY LONG BASE VERY NICE BATHROOM. BED SUPER COMFY, ITS A BIT OF A MAZE WITH THE CORRIDORS BUT REALLY QWERKY , RIGHT ON THE HIGH STREET SO SUPERB LOCATION, STAFF LOVELY, CAR PARKING A BIT LIMITED IN GROUNDS BUT PAY AND DISPLAY NEAR BY
SO HOT BUT THAT WASN'T THE HOTELS FAULT!!!!!
Lovely room and view, nice bathroom
Leaking radiator in bathroom. And no elevator
Location was good, service was good
Too warm, no airco, not enough parking spaces
Prima ligging in het dorp
Warme kamer. We hadden voor twee nachten geboekt. Kamer was niet schoon gemaakt en geen schone handdoeken.
Central town location. Off street car park.
Stairs are steep and narrow. Was on 2nd floor, so beware! Rooms are clean, well appointed, but can be a little 'compact'.
The hotel is very centrally located and well attended by locals and holiday makers alike. The room was very large and clean. There were tea & coffee making facilities in the room, along with biscuits. The breakfast, although at an extra charge (£10) was worth the money, it was plentiful and included unlimited coffee or tea etc. The bar served a good selection of drinks, lagers & ales.
We booked in for evening meal, which on the whole was acceptable, but some items had to be returned due to being overcooked, which may be a one off.
Zentrale Lage
