We booked our stay at Chadstone because we'd heard the pool and spa were highlights of the hotel. We specifically chose to stay here so we could unwind after a day of shopping and celebrate my partner's birthday with a relaxing evening.
Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The spa was closed on Sunday night, despite being one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We explained this to the staff member at reception, but no solution, apology, or alternative was offered.
The pool area was also in a very poor state. The water and surrounding area contained hair and debris, making it feel unhygienic and unpleasant to use. After swimming, both my partner and I developed painful skin rashes that lasted for around a week, and our skin became extremely dry and irritated. This was very concerning and completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration.
Overall, this stay was a huge disappointment. We chose Chadstone for its wellness facilities, but instead left feeling let down and concerned about the condition of the pool. What was meant to be a thoughtful birthday gift turned into a frustrating and upsetting experience. We would not recommend staying here based on our experience

Luxe, stylish and very attentive staff.
Pros:

Immaculate and plush, luxe decor and styling. Personal preference is for a firmer bed but I think most would enjoy the big, soft and cushy mattress, staff were so amazing and views from deluxe king suite were wonderful.

Cons:

I only wish I could have opened the windows.
