Pros:

The hotel lobby is truly beautiful, with architecture that conveys elegance, peace, and tranquillity. It is a lovely space.
My family and I stayed on the night of 30 August, and the gentleman at reception—unfortunately, I cannot remember his name—was wonderful. He made us feel very welcome after a long journey from Melbourne. We were impressed, as it is not always easy these days to find someone with such a warm energy and such excellent customer service.
Our room was enormous and, although the rooms are showing their age, it was comfortable, quiet, and warm. We did not experience any noise or cold during our stay.
The pool is a great bonus. The only area that could be improved is the wet area: several spa jets were not working, and the area generally appeared to need maintenance. The sauna was also out of service.
Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel. There are just a few details that could be improved to make the experience even better.

Great Location and good complex
Pros:

Location is great, close to CBD and across the road for bus stop from the airport

Cons:

This is our 2nd stay there, same problem with the TV remotes, they need to be checked. Ou first stay the remote didn't work and were given another one. This stay same problem, three remotes later and still not working, so no TV for the 2 night stay. We were offered a room swap for next day but we had already settled in and they were very vague as to what time the swap would be as we had previous arrangements in place and couldn't hang around the hotel waiting, so we decided to stay put. So very disappointing. The hotel is good, but checks need to be in place. Also had to ask at reception for a 2nd mug and tea & coffee capsules as housekeeping didn't top up.
