My room was near the front desk on the 1st floor. The AC unit in the room (111) was noisier than usual so we couldn't get to sleep. When we finally did sleep, we were awakened by loud yelling at 2:15 a m. Apparently there was a problem with another room?

Nice hotel minutes from Cal Poly
Pros:

Really nice hotel, convenient location close to Cal Poly and downtown. I was worried it was going to be noisy at night due to proximity to the freeway and our room being on that side, but with the balcony door closed, there was zero issues with the noise. Staff were super nice, clean pool, breakfast was pretty standard. I would stay there again!

Cons:

Pillows were a bit flat, could do with updating.
