Proximity to events we were attending at the hotel, the Convention Center and US Bank Stadium. Also, it was walkable to some great restaurants.
Banging water pipes whenever people were showering in adjacent or upstairs rooms. Very annoying especially early in the mornings.
Five star stay!! We stayed in Minneapolis for a convention in this hotel & was pleased from when we arrived, the entire time & when we left!
It’s a massive Hilton with an impressive 25 floors. We stayed on the top floor. Beautiful large lobby with great natural light.
Hotel amenities: 5/5 - On the 2nd floor, it offered a nice sized pool & nice gym & sauna (first hotel in awhile that has more than just dumbells. Actually had weight training equipment to get a decent work out in)
All of the ballrooms / conference rooms we used during the convention were always clean & organized nice even with the large amount of people staying here. Lobby / floor bathrooms were spotless clean at all times.
Room: 5/5 - Our room had the most STUNNING city view. Great to watch sunset from. Decent king bed. Large walk in shower. The typical desk set up/extra sofa chair in the room. Room was very clean when we arrived which is always appreciated.
Parking: 5/5 - They offer a large attached parking garage. It was very easy to navigate during our week stay. You can purchase a in & out pass for about $100 for the entire week. Allows you to come & go from garage with an easy ticket scan coming & going. Each floor had an easy sign to follow to the elevators which brought you back up to the lobby. Made our trip super flawless to come & go from our hotel during the days- and an easy return back to park at the end of the day. We just saved the parking garage address pin on our Google Maps & returned back to the garage after our day exploring with our car. Even during a large convention (I think the entire hotel was booked out) we always found parking between floors 1-3.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton in the downtown. The hotel was clean from our room to the entire hotel. Hotel gym was great to use and the entire parking garage experience made the stay even easier!
Super bonus for the amazing room view on the 25th floor!
Truly a gem of the downtown even being an older property. A short walk to the bustle of Hennepin Avenue, kitty corner to several nice restaurants and Orchestra Hall. A reasonable walk to the River and the Stone Arch bridge area.
The Staff is overly friendly and helpful. Direct Skyway access and its own parking ramp makes it convenient.
Try and get a higher floor for some great views of areas of the downtown, I recommend the "odds" which face West to catch a great sunset too!
The staff were great at the front desk, bar area and valet. Building and housekeeping need some work. The room didn’t look like the pictures online. Got to my room it was dark and dirty. The carpet was gross. Wore shoes or socks while in room. It was dusty, I asked for an extra blanket and what they gave me was a cheap foam blanket with holes. The tub spout was broke and the outlets had mold & dust in them. You didn’t need to look close to see that. The curtains had stains on them . I have stayed at multiple Hiltons and this one was not good. They also need to work on security. I went into the women’s restroom and I noticed someone else in one of the stalls. After I got in there my husband said a homeless man came out and he told an employee but they were in no rush to respond.
.
Staff are very slow in responding, and they don't appreciate the urgency of the customer.
I would say this place nickel and dimes you but it's more like 10s and 20s. Breakfast of cold cereal and yogurt is $30. Add $20 if you want anything hot. They say it's $30 a day to park. But it's a municipal ramp! I booked directly thru the city for half that. A can of soda is $5.
The location is great and the room was nice but the shameless cash grab was a big turn off.
Mark Berkowitz is an outstanding resource and representative of Hilton. Very patient, kniwlwdges le, and hospitable. Thanks firnyiur assistance, Mark!
Nice hotel with friendly staff and good amenities
The swimming pool, sauna, and gym were nice perks. The value was excellent. The location was near a lot of shops and restaurants. This is my second time at this location and I plan to stay there again.
More plant-based options in the coffee shop. There wasn't a single plant-based baked item among so many offerings, so we had to go to a coffee shop down the street for a treat.
Mark the bellman was incredible and went above and beyond to take care of me.
I found the desk staff to be super nice. The lobby and bar area are nice as well. The rooms are a little on the older side but clean and functional.
The valet was nice.
Very pretty and welcoming!
Nothing to say
