Good from beach outside view and reception but less so in the rooms.
Pros:

I was a little dissatisfied in this for a Melia hotel. It looks great as you walk in with a really lovely beach frontage and reception area. Room was good but not excellent

Cons:

The room was at best average for a Melia but it was let down by the bathroom which squashed in a small bath and bidet and thus felt cramped. It was strange access into the bath because they put the fixed shower screen at the wrong end so you had to squeeze around the sink to step into the bathtub in order to take a shower ! Why all hotels in Spain do this is beyond me, a walk in shower would have been so much more spacious and functional. Given the size was a bidet really necessary as well ? Location was only good if you want the beach and promenade but if you want the old town its a bit of an uphill trot
