Rerasonable choice to stay 1-2 days before or after the cruise
Pros:

Good location. Close to railroad and coach stations. Several supermarkets and the city center. Fridge and safe in the room

Cons:

Breakfast too poor. Bad coffee for breakfast. No airconditioner.

nice Hotel, friendly personel
Pros:

Personel was very nice and helpful (thank you Catherine)
Room was okay but hot ... but we had a fan - the best solution as rooms don't have AC. We had dinner first evening at the Hotel and it was tasty
and,very important, parking place near the Hotel

Cons:

carpet in the room (tapis plain) but this seems to be normal in UK

We almost left the first night.
Pros:

Location is great if your’re cruising

Cons:

Blood stained bed and other horrors. Stay away, get better hotel and an uber. We wanted to be close to the terminal and it was not worth it. Room is small, interior looks very old and dirty. We requested baby crib on the day of the reservation, but did not have it in the room. I asked for it and it was DIY, staff told us they don’t know how to unfold it. We also got no pillow or blanket for it.

Comfortable and friendly.
Pros:

I really loved the staff in this hotel, how open and welcoming it is from the moment you walk in. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated the bath immensely! The rituals soaps were lovely too.

I ordered my breakfast to my room and was so happy with the quality and service.

Cons:

My phone didn't work so I couldn't order room service late night and on the WhatsApp chat, no one replied. But honestly that's it, I will stay again!

You are paying for the location, certainly not a hotel to stay at otherwise.
Pros:

The property is very close yo the cruise terminal

Cons:

The Novotel has captured clientele due to the frequency and volume of cruise travellers that leave from the cruise terminal within walking distance. It doesn’t have to do much for its guests - it operates on a high turnover.
The rooms are very basic, we had to ask for towels. The shower in the bath is extremely dangerous particularly for a lot of the elderly clientele.

Cons:

The toilet and taps were not working in our room so in order to use the toilet and wash we had to go down 4 floors and use the communal toilets on the ground floor.
