Comfortable stay and staff were really nice and helpful.
Pros:

There is a wide variety of breakfast options, however the price pints is a little too much .

Cons:

The layout of the toilet and bathroom. Although having it separate is good , there is no handwashing facilities in the toilet. Which means you are touching the door handles with potentially dirty hands to go out and go to the other room to wash your hands.

Cons:

Requested earlier check in. Sat in lobby till 3 waiting. At 3 enquired was room ready. They had ring to check it was ready. So even though staff seen we waiting with child they never bothered check earlier.
Told couldn't use pool following morning. Until 12. And then we couldn't use it then because check out was at 12.
Pull out bed uncomfortable even for a child.

Great, but not if the weather is hot. No A/C
Pros:

Excellent location

Coach and training station very close. Lots if shopping and restaurants within walking distance

The hotel advertises no A/C and the windows cannot be opened due to a security strap

There are no phones in the normal rooms

There is a fan in to room, with a mini fridge and kettle

No CNN , only BBC news.

All the staff were wonderful, cheerful and helpful.

No current usb ports, so could not charge mobile.
No heating or cooling.
Hot water not work 1st day.
Expensive room rates.
No help with luggage, after 30 hr flights.

Really enjoyed our stay the whole family was comfortable.
Pros:

Easy walking distance from the city centre, great facilities including pool and gym. Highly recommend

Cons:

Car park could be cheaper for people staying multiple days.

For anybody visiting Southampton or simply passing through to pick up a cruise this is an excellent good value hotel tha

The food was wonderful so we would stay again

The food was wonderful both in the evening and at breakfast

Cons:

The room was shabby. The carpet was awful. The bed and bed linen were excellent and very comfortable, just a shame the carpet and the
separate loo were in poor condition. Bath very tall which made it difficult to get in and out.
