Great stay, have stayed here before.
Pros:

Free room upgrade. Easy to navigate, although the walk was long between lift and room. Buffet breakfast has a heap of variety. Great location, located between two tramstops on Collins St, also have trams around the corner.
Easy to get to via public transport

Cons:

Single lift to get to the hotel reception. 2 out of 3 main lifts are being renovated - didn't have to wait too long though.
Was locked out of our room after 10am. I thought I had the check out time wrong, but it was 11am, so not sure what happened there? Reception was able to fix my key/card.
Couple of the exercise equipment had lost connection to the screen/workout sessions.
For a room with 2 queen beds (4 occupancy) there was only 2 mugs, 2 glasses, 2 wine glasses, and two glasses in the bathroom.

Beds & pillows very comfortable , could do with a few more comforts in the room , no microwave to heat anything
Pros:

Unfortunately not all the lifts were working , reading lights on both double beds were not working , staff were nice, unfortunately some renovations were happening
Bathroom’s are a bit dated but overall it was a comfortable stay

Pros:

Room service was prompt and tasty.

Cons:

The bath over shower had a flimsy feel- like I would fall through.
Only one elevator for the entire hotel due to maintenance.
View onto a garden rooftop was ugly.
