The beds were comfortable
The tub and corners of the bathroom floor had mold. The pillows were small and flat. The room/carpet smelt like dirty feet. The continental breakfast room was inviting but the food was dried up and poor selection. The front desk staff wasn’t inviting at all

The bathroom was very dated and in need of repair. It has no exhaust of any type. It was gross
The room had some improvements to it which was good. The noise in hall could be heard easily. The door stuck so difficult to open and close.

The location in Thunder Bay was good.
The hotel was awful! The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was filthy. Visible mold in the bathroom. A terrible purple/red stain in the middle of the carpet that would have been impossible for the cleaning staff to miss! I couldn’t wait to leave! See photos.
The location was well suited for our needs.
The room was old, tired and uncomfortable. The shower leaked. The bed was awful. Hallways were dark and had a smell.
The staff in the lobby were great.
I did not like the carpet in my room, my feet would stick to it the night table was dirty with dried food and gum! The toilet was running constantly and the elevator was out of order.
I should not be paying such a high price for such a disgusting room.

This os one of the worst properties that travelodge operates
This looks like a rehab centre rather than a motel. Once you enter the lobby it smells awful. The rooms had a smell and the bed were noisy all night. It was so bad that I couldn’t sleep and decided to check out at 5 instead of planned 9am check out.

nothing - except I was given a refund. I can't believe this place is still running and not shut down. The location was the only good thing about it. I'm happy I didn't pay a head with booking.com or else getting a refund would have been a huge hassel.
smoke smell everywhere, the room was disgusting. cobwebs all over the walls. The floors, chairs, desk, headboards were all covered in so much dog hair/fur. The a/c unit has for much dust, dirt and fur in the filter - it looked like it had never been cleaned. The light bulbs in the bathroom flickered like a horror film and the fridge smelt like someone stored a dead animal in it and then threw some ammonia in there. I wouldn't even sit in that room.
It was clean. Staff was friendly.
That price was not clear on traveling with my dog.
