The hotel has always been a favourite of mine, location is good and price is very affordable.
It has started to date somewhat however is still very neat and clean.
Location was convenient and bed was comfortable.
The bathroom is not really clean. I hate to climb in the bathtub to shower and the hot and cold water tap is horrible. Every time when I off the tap, I need to adjust the hot and cold water again ):

The location is a bit far. But considering the prices of other hotels, it was an affordable option.
However, there was no mineral water bottles in the room. We arrived late at night and we asked the hotel staff where to purchase water bottles. The staff said, “In Singapore, you can drink tap water, if you want to be cautious, you can boil it and drink it.” That sounded a bit barbaric to me. I didn’t want to drink tap water. The lobby cafe sells 5TWD water. There is no convenience store nearby, so I walked up and down the hill for 15 mins to get water bottles.
In my opinion, at least for the first night, there should be complimentary water bottles in the room for this rank of hotels.
Also, we booked 2 rooms with connecting room option. The staff asked to open or not open the connecting doors. I said please open, but this door, once you close it, it’s automatically locked and needed to be open with a physical key all the time. I didn’t know and asked the housekeeper to open it with her keys. The housekeeper suggested to put some tissue papers to avoid closing. Also, the hotel provided 2 card keys but only for one room access. So, there was one time after the connecting doors were closed and only one room to access but we couldn’t enter another room. The hotel should’ve given us at least 1 card key to each room.
Overall, the hotel is clean and cozy but I was not so satisfied with small details.
There's shortcut that the hotel should have indicate to get to the hotel if the customer wanted to come on foot. I only knew it until I made one big round and the reception staff let me know

It was an advance birthday celebration; requested a special touch if possible (folded cute towels etc) but it wasnt acknowledged. But its ok
