A 1.85% credit card surcharge for credit cards is applicable for all credit card transactions.
We require a credit card pre-authorization or a prepayment of the full accommodations amount plus AU$145 per night for incidentals, for a guest to be able to check in to the hotel.
Guests who book breakfast-inclusive rate plans will receive breakfast for 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 5 and younger. Additional children under age 5 and children 6-11 years old will receive 50% off the adult breakfast price.

The hotel rejects providing an invoice on a stay booked via booking.com. This is despite the clearly stated policy of booking.com ("invoices are provided by the hotels, and not by booking.com").
The Shangri-La oozes Class at every level.
Staff were well-presented, professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. Interior decor was immaculate.
We had a much better room than we expected. It had a sweeping view from Circular Quay and the Opera House across to the Harbour Bridge. The room itself was very large with a comfortable lounge area and a beautiful, well-equipped bathroom.
The next morning, we watched the sun rise right in the middle of our bedroom windows, absolutely fantastic.
The Breakfast offering was probably the most extensive we have ever seen anywhere. It was very hard to limit what we had to a sensible level.
Location was a short walk up from Circular Quay and the Opera House, very convenient for us as we had booked to see a show.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the Shangri-La.
