The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property.
A 1.85% credit card surcharge for credit cards is applicable for all credit card transactions.
We require a credit card pre-authorization or a prepayment of the full accommodations amount plus AU$145 per night for incidentals, for a guest to be able to check in to the hotel.
Guests who book breakfast-inclusive rate plans will receive breakfast for 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 5 and younger. Additional children under age 5 and children 6-11 years old will receive 50% off the adult breakfast price.
Please note over New Years a nonrefundable, nontransferable pre-payment is required. Floor allocations will depend on the room type and date of arrival. Guests cannot request a specific floor during this time.

The valet parking fee is AUD 135 per day for vehicles over 82.6 inches (6.9 feet) high.
Please note that Rollaway beds over NYE will be charged at $550 per night and $900 for Horizon Club Rooms and all Suites ( requests must be made in advance, at the time of booking, and are subject to availability ).
Operating hours for Altitude Restaurant and Blu Bar on Level 36 may vary during the Festive Season and on Public Holidays.

The view from our room was lovely.
The beds have changed. They use to be comfortable and softer but now they feel so firm. It was like sleeping on a rock.
The climb up and down the hill was a trek and most likely something my family wouldn’t do again.
Great location,with view of Opera house and harbour. Have stayed there before so knew what to expect.

The fitting is a bit old.
Room was fantastic. We were lucky to get a Corner room so had excellent views of the city and Barangaroo. Vivid was on so it was truly lovely. The service is good it all just feels a bit disjointed sometimes the hotel.
Horizon lounge was excellent and their staff/team upstairs at the lounge are seriously amazing.
Although the hotel location is upstairs at the rocks (bit of a hike to local amenities) you really can’t fault how Lovely the vista is being right on the harbour and being in the heart of the rocks.
The Valet parking team were also fantastic, so kind helpful and welcoming.
The main level 1 buffet was super busy - The space doesn’t feel big enough to cater for the volume of guests. Even the lifts and lobby just feel excessively slow and busy at peak times. True from other reviews that the lifts are very slow. We ate dinner at Bar 36, the staff were great And
And the view lovely. Our experience was a bit decreased because the chef initially refused to alter the burger toppings, when we explained it was for a 6 year old and it was too much with the standard flavours, it seemed it was a such huge problem for any form of alteration and it really felt off putting. It was begrudgingly changed I think after what appeared to be some strong convincing to the chef by the service team. The rest of the food was lovely at bar 36.
Room service was horrible, I ordered a dessert (apple rhubarb crumble) and it tasted like
Something I could get from the supermarket freezer - so sadly that felt like a big waste of Money.
