It was good.
Pros:

The hotel is in a Great Location. The view is wonderful.

Cons:

The staff was not always friendly. The refrigerator in my room was extremely loud and it was hard to sleep.

Nice room with Bay / Yacht marina views on Shelter Island, CA
Pros:

We love this location: Shelter Island has the bay and the yacht marina on both sides of the hotel for great views on either side of the hallway. The overall atmosphere is friendly, casual classy, lots of windows, and poolside/marina-side dining. We love that. We walk to our Sailing excursions (about 3 blocks), to our favorite restaurant: KETCH and our favorite gelato shop (next to KETCH). Our room was spacious, with great views; we like having bedside tables & lamps to read, love the little fridge and desk area. We picked this hotel for it's style, cleanliness, views, proximity to our planned outings. It's so close to Uber/taxi from the airport, close to Seaport Village and Little Italy--a quick car ride. Because it's not downtown, it's quiet and not crowded. The pool is small, that's the only downside if you bring swimmers. Other hotels nearby have much bigger pools. Love the lobby ambiance and nice bathrooms off of the lobby where we could change we arrived too early to check in. We still got out by the pool to read hours before checkin. Great location, nice lodgings, competitive pricing, friendly staff. Thanks!

We enjoyed a fantastic experience at Bay Club Hotel and Marina!
Pros:

We loved our stay at Bay Club Hotel and Marina. We had a full view of the marina from our room and a full view of the ocean as we walked out the front entrance. We enjoyed an outstanding and welcoming atmosphere and kindness, courtesy and professional from every staff member we encountered. Our room was very nice, very clean, and very quiet. The service, amenities and quality of this hotel was well worth the price we paid. We highly recommend this hotel!

Fabulous San Diego location by the bay and harbor!
Pros:

We love the location and the views from all windows, of the bay and sailboats, and the yacht harbor and boats. This hotel is casual classy from the lobby to the bar/dining area (outdoor dining is a plus). We love being in this part of town because it's quiet, not crowded, surrounded by water, close to the airport and downtown, and has several of the best restaurants in San Diego, right on Shelter Island!

Cons:

Only the king size bed wasn't totally comfortable after each night's sleep. We have such a nice bed at home that most hotel beds can't compete ;)

The Bay Club is the best part of Shelter Island!
Pros:

We had an upstairs room Bay view.. great choice.. everyone was very nice, ate at the bar one night staff awesome! We have been at the Bay Club in the past.. always a go to place while in San Diego..

Love this hotel!!
Pros:

We have stayed here on three separate occasions. We always get the bay front king rooms. The value for the money is huge - location, location, location! We really enjoy that bay view. Value - so reasonably priced and rooms are spacious. Could the rooms use an update? Sure but honestly, they are spotless with comfortable beds and again, the location is awesome. Staff super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a stay here.
