A great place to encounter wild animals everyday. My daughter enjoyed seeing all the animals (Impala, warthogs, water buck, monkeys, kudus ect) that came to graze or rest behind our room. The hotel is located in a quiet location very close to the town and the Vic Falls.
Localização, vista do qurto e as zonas comuns.
Casa de banho a banheira antiquada.
I was room 535
Your staff is very assistive even before you face a challenge Same helped me get morning shoes just on request
Phiri helped me and others in the dinning hall
She and others rushed to attend to our colleague who had collapsed in the corridor
The hotel has a lovely environment mixed with supportive staff who attended to my needs during my stay.
Sane and team were excellent in service. Keep it up
Very relaxing feel. Very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. The wild horizons girls were amazing and very helpful
There could of been a little more on offer dining wise
The facility offers one of the best in Victoria Falls, providing a family- and business-friendly environment and being close to nature. Their meals are fresh and organic, with a wide variety of menu options, particularly for breakfast. The traditional cuisine is also good, and a good number of options for homely meals. Their bush restaurant is a must-try for food lovers, offering exceptional food quality. The rooms are a bit dated, but are equipped with the latest technology and a smart TV, which is commendable. Monkeys can be a real irritation, and some can be hostile towards guests. Enjoy a wide variety of animals and a beautiful view of the waterfalls if you are lucky enough to get the golf-course view. For golf lovers, the golf course is a plus, and you can stroll in the morning or evening, taking care to stay safe, as some ponds can be home to crocodiles and other wildlife.
Clean and confortable hotel, good food, fantastic personel, better for family and friends.
Nothing, all good.
very calm, great views
paid extra for a river view which had nothing exceptional, the river is very far away … the garden view was the same and cheaper. Intrusive monkeys which made the terrace unusable at all times. All meals and drinks had to paid each time, no facility to pay at checkout which is very inconvenient because you need your card with you all the time
stay was good except for highlighted issues, food was adequate but to improve on freshness and hot water for bathing
An interesting review and not sure how to detach myself from back in the day. I have been coming here since 1998. It is mind blowing that the decor back then was so astute that it still manages to be in the present . It’s now charmingly retro without trying too hard. Sentimentally for sure I would return … I mean the golf course, the beautiful swimming pool, amongst other charms. The staff are all indulgent and helpful especially the reception, bar area who somehow remember your usual drink order and the spa. On the flip side we were in rooms on the reception side … no view, constant traffic and frequent noise and a patio that was rendered useless with no privacy so was not used. Not pleasant especially if you had any plans of sleeping in.
Rooms were cleaned every day so ten out of ten to the cleaning crew.
A great positive is the bus that runs to and fro into town from the hotel and the bus drivers are awesome with lots of tips, going the extra mile and a generous caring attitude. Many thanks to them.
The food at the hotel is average to good and the service perhaps average.
Nice setting on top of a hill. view of the Zambezi if you are lucky. Spacious lobby and bar area, nice pool area. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Shuttle bus was not full and worked reliably. Breakfast was good. Room service relatively fast.
Hotel seems somewhat outdated and could use some upgrades (probably like the entire country). Only rooms for 2 persons available - No family rooms.
No value in terms, I did not have a view despite being here for 8 days, cleanliness not too bad, rooms need refurbishment.
Very nice stay, friendly staff, rooms are a bit dated and can do with a refurbishment. Clean stay.
I had. A great experience at the hotel
All went well. Excellent service. Add Supersport for soccer.
