Cons:

The room was nice wish the ac worked better didnt really cool the room down and we put it on the lowest setting. Didn't tell front office because we were only staying 1 night.

Cons:

The guests staying in the room next to us were smoking marijuana and the smell was coming through the doorway which joins rooms. The A/C was not working in the hallway of our floor, very hot and muggy. Our room did not smell fresh.

Elite benefit confirmed twice, then ignored
Pros:

Booked this Courtyard specifically for the Gold Elite benefits and was let down on the one that mattered most. We confirmed a 2 PM late checkout twice, once before arrival and again in person at the front desk during check-in. Despite both confirmations, housekeeping entered the occupied room at 11 AM and told my wife she should have already checked out.

When I raised this with Marriott customer care afterward, the first response addressed room upgrade availability and welcome gift point timing, neither of which was the issue. It took a follow-up to get the actual complaint acknowledged, staff disregarding a confirmed checkout time and entering an occupied room without authorization.

The property itself was clean and the location convenient, but a confirmed checkout time should mean something, especially for Elite members who booked specifically because of that benefit. If staff can’t reliably communicate a guest’s checkout time internally, that’s worth knowing before you book.
