Excellent experience! Loved it
Pros:

Wonderful stay at Hotel du Vin! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We were very grateful that they allowed us to check in ahead of the regular check-in time, which was especially appreciated after traveling.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, spacious, and beautifully designed. I also really loved the modern charging station next to the bed for phones and watches — such a small detail, but incredibly convenient and something more hotels should have!

Everything felt comfortable, stylish, and well thought out. The staff were welcoming, professional, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay at Hotel du Vin again. Highly recommend!

Great location, charming but eccentric rooms
Pros:

It's a beautiful old building in a great location for the West End of Glasgow. Staff were really friendly and kind.

Cons:

Room was just a bit odd. Bathroom is downstairs with no door, rubbish lighting, no surfaces to put things on and didn't feel as clean as I would have expected. The giant bed is right up against the fireplace, doesn't really seem to fit. The bathtub in the room is fabulous, but the only toiletries were in those holders attached to the walls of the shower downstairs. Nothing really bad, just not quite as fancy as the impression given outside.

Pros:

Cons:

Breakfast was poor - not everything we ordered came - to be fair this was dealt with by the management very well.

West End Reliabilty
Pros:

The old-fashioned quality of the building.

Cons:

I felt the internal painting around the windows was inconsistent with such a quality brand.

Special Ambiance
Pros:

The general ambience of the place. Palatial room with a view and huge, super comfy bed. Magnificent bathroom with wonderful decor. L'Occitane toiletries, coffee machine and fun goodies in the mini bar.

Cons:

Bit of a mix up with breakfast but when it came it was delicious and quite unique.
