There are many activities to choose from every day or to just spend some time in the outdoor leisure areas and relax.
Extremely welcoming resort! Many things to do here. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The best place for a little vacation. Would love to go back soon!
My girls and I had the best time here! The entire property is incredibly clean, welcoming, and perfect for families. A huge shoutout to the front desk team—the gentleman who checked us in (Jacob, I think!) started our stay on the best note. He was so kind that the kids kept looking for him the entire trip! Between the great hospitality, the comfortable rooms, and the excellent amenities, it was a perfect vacation. Highly recommend!
El hotel esta bien solo que el costo no concuerda con el lugar, ya que es muy alto para lo que ofrece. es el mismo precio que un Jw marriot y nada que ver. esta bien pero para unos $150 dlls la noche
el precio esta sobrevalorado
Looks beautiful from the outside, but inside is a little off. Aunt Di’s has maggots, flies, flies everywhere!! Can’t even enjoy my meal by the pool gross. Overheard that chef’s dip barehands in everything preparing meals for multiple restaurants… going on hours without a wash! Could explain the few sickness reports.
The room was awesome, we reserved 2 queen beds and it had a small balcony. It was very clean, the staff was great. We took our grandchildren and every evening there was s'mores & a movie on the lawn, a small playground and bikes for the smaller kids to ride. The lazy river was terrific, be sure to have a life jacket for the younger kids. The buffet in the restaurant was great, something for everyone and the kids were charged their age ($4 for your 4 yr old). We will definitely do it again, my gkids had a ball: ) It was pricey but we will always have those memories.
The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent!
Nothing!
Pretty grounds. Friendly staff.
Lots of families and kids so not always relaxing. They should have more adult only areas for those traveling without kids. Check your bill when you charge things to the room. Found accidental billings to wrong wrong on my bill. The hotel did quickly correct this.
Very fun experience! The valet was really nice and got our cars fast. Victor Gutierrez greeted us with a warm welcome and helped us get settled in.
atmosphere was so amazing and welcoming! victor was so helpful with the valet and welcomed us to the location! absolutely loved the pools and the food was amazing! shoutout our sever stacy who was super helpful in helping us decide between the buffet and regular dining. will be wanting to return soon!
Overall great experience! The lazy river and hot tub were a great way to relax from a fast paced day. Victor from the valet service was incredibly accommodating to us and our needs. Stacy from the cafe was also a great. She not only went above and beyond with her service, but took the time to really get to know us.
Amazing time!! Special thanks you to Victor Gutierrez, amazing service the entire stay.
I had the absolute best time. The hot tub was perfect and my friends loved the lazy river. Stacy from the Cafe was the most kind and helpful server and she made our night. Victor from the valet service was also very welcoming, friendly, and set the tone for the entire experience.
Stacy at the cafe was wonderful. Victor from valet was super helpful and accommodating.
Very nice design and experiences. Perfect for families with kids, especially between ages 2 and 10. Plenty of chairs to lounge on and enjoy the pools
I have been traveling to the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort for work for the last twenty years. It remains, by far, my favorite venue. From the ambiance to the food to the superb service, every aspect of my stay is always exceptional. I feel like it is my home away from home. My daughter basically grew up there; we were there so often that, at 25, she still loves coming with me when she can.
The meeting space is ample, and the Internet provider, Encore, has a wonderful representative in Lee. Our banquet staff and event concierges are always top-notch, and having a Concierge app that lets us directly communicate our needs to the appropriate parties is extremely helpful.
Families love it there, and many of our attendees use it as a working vacation. The activities for kids, the new lagoon, the pools, the lazy river, and golf for those who play--there is something for everyone. If I could hold all of my meetings there, I would.
Over priced and limited food selection and poor food quality for a resort. No hiking or nature trails. Recommend Hyatt Lost Pines instead.
I was very excited to spend the weekend here and unfortunately I was let down.
The grounds are beautiful and rooms were clean which was why I did not give this resort a 1 star.
My first experience at this resort was getting cut in line at check in. The woman at the counter allowed for this to happen and did nothing to remedy the situation. I was then told that the early check in that I already paid for was not available and I did not have access to my room. This was around 11:30 and I paid for 11am check in.
After over an hour of walking around in the heat waiting for my room, I was able to get access. My room was clean, but there were no convenience items on our room despite the long list of items that we could allegedly take home as souvenirs, we did not even have towels and robes. Due to the price of this room I bought, this was an expectation. I paid extra for a room that I believe to had "easy access" to the pools and amenities. The room and a great view of the parking lot.
No one explained the food options or how hard it would be to get a reservation at the Antler Lounge. We ended up eating dinner at the cafe. They wanted $40 to eat at a buffet that was largely picked over with a grotesque amount of flies around the restaurant, eating at the food set out for the guests. This was unacceptable. Not to mention that the greeter in front of the restaurant made an offhanded comment about my top (which I unbuttoned two buttons because of the heat) she made this comment in front of several individuals which was humiliating and embarrassing.
The wait staff at the pools were miserable and you had to go out of your way to get poolside service as they would not make eye contact with guests and appear annoyed if you asked for a drink. Me and my guest stopped trying altogether. We were told at the bar that they would not bring the food and drinks to our table and that we would have to come back because they are understaffed. If this is true, this resort needs to hire more staff to keep up with the weekend guests.
The lagoon was this weekend's saving grace. It was beautiful and relaxing. My only frustration was you were only allowed a small portion to swim in, which got overly crowded especially over the weekend.
I was hoping for a relaxing stay, I felt more stressed just trying to get a room, service, and food. I live in San Antonio and was hoping to fall in love at this location so that I could keep coming back on weekends. I will not be doing so again.
We cruise a lot, so I always compare vacations to my cruising experiences. I really didn't think I was going enjoy my stay as much as I did, but I am glad to say I was wrong. I LOVED the place! Plenty of room to spread out and explore, very tranquil and peaceful, not overly crowded, very good quality food and dining experience, and super friendly staff!
