This was such a beautiful relaxing place. If you are a water person there were great hot tubs, pools, lazy river and a gorgeous lagoon to enjoy! I always love staying at this resort.
We stay at this resort several times a year and it never disappoints. Highly recommend. Plenty of amenities to keep the family busy!
We went for a conference. The conference was great! The hotel was not. The cost of the hotel was ridiculous! When I received my bill, there were hidden charges not revealed to me at registration!

The building is beautiful but not worth the money!
We spent a quick staycation at this resort and enjoyed every moment! Riley at the front desk took great care checking us in and made sure we got all our Globalist perks! We enjoyed the lazy river and slide and Brittany made us the best skinny margaritas to help cool off. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Antler’s Lodge, service was excellent! My brother was visiting from NY and got to spend some great time with his nephews in the new Lagoon! Can’t wait to come back!
Our family has been coming to this property since 2006. It has always been a great family friendly vacation. We had not been able to go the last few years, and when we arrived this year we found pluses in minuses. Renovations that have been done were great. They made the rooms, more family, friendly, and added additional Amenities. The pricing has really gotten out of control. You pay a resort fee and that covers the very basic activities. Additional things like paddle boarding are $25 for 25 minutes. There needs to be some way to get this rained in to where there’s an all-inclusive resort fee, so families don’t have to worry about being nickel and dime while they’re there. Overall, the property is beautiful, the staff is great, and we always have a great time.
We love this place! Have visited several times. Lobby bar staff are absolutely fantastic!! Love the feel of “at home” as soon as on property.
Don’t allow children into Charlie’s- kids don’t belong in a bar. Give adults one place without kids on the property.
I had a very relaxing staycation at Hyatt Hill Country Resort. I enjoyed swimming and floating in their new blue lagoon. The food is amazing, had an excellent breakfast buffet and delicious dinner buffet. The bedroom is beautiful and clean, and the bathroom is sparkly. It would be nice to have a list of complimentary items in the room like at other Hyatt resorts elsewhere. Some of the items I ordered did not arrive. However, the staff are friendly and helpful. Tight parking on the weekend and there is no charging station for my EV. It's movie night Friday and Saturday night for kids but would love to have live music next time I visit this Hyatt resort in San Antonio. Lastly, I had a late check-out at 2 p.m. and was able to enjoy the lagoon once more till closing time.
What a great way to close out Summer 2026 with a family trip to Hyatt Hill Country Resort. The lazy river, water slide, and lagoon beach were all big hits with all of my family, and the food and service were outstanding...just like the first time we visited. Hopefully we can make it an annuall family trip!
The rooms were spacious, the staff friendly, and the Lazy River was my absolute favorite amenity. It is a must do if you are staying at the Hyatt Hill Country! Can't speak to the food, but the cocktails were on point. Lots of critters running around if you like that sort of thing. Would recommend, but be aware the beds might be too plush for some. And by some I mean me. 65*F and I was still sweating in the morning.
