This is one of the best hotel/resorts in all of Texas. Incredible facilities and great staff! The lazy river is shaded and very relaxing. The hotel has been recently updated and looks amazing!
The Hotel in San Antonio is beautiful. It offers so many wonderful experiences for everyone in your family. The food is great, the lazy river is lots of fun and the new lagoon is so beautiful and relaxing.
Amazing experience fun for the whole family. there is a set schedule where you can do things and go on your own if you like. you can be on your own or go have fun with the family at the lazy river or the lagoon.
Great place. Lots of activities. Especially the Lagoon and Lazy River. Don't miss the Breakfast Buffet. The attention to details is where the Resort is set apart, all the way down to Valet. Victor the Valet Manger was great.
We had an excellent stay at the resort and enjoyed the new Big Spring Lagoon. We had lunch out at the lagoon and the food was delicious. The evening outdoor movie was nice for families with kiddos and the S'mores out by the fire pits were a perfect ending to a summer night
I was thoroughly impressed with my stay from start to finish. Victor the valet manager provided a great first and lasting impression throughout. The property was clean and well kept, the room was spacious and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcome. Would definitely stay again! -Joe and Family.
Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The entire experience was relaxing, memorable, and exactly what we needed.
A very special thank you to Victor, the Valet Manager. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made such a lasting impression on us. It's rare to meet someone who goes above and beyond with such a positive attitude, and Victor truly embodies what exceptional hospitality looks like. He made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation.
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. Every part of the property was spotless, the grounds were stunning, and you could tell that every staff member takes pride in creating an incredible experience for their guests.
We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Victor and the entire team for making our stay so special. We can't wait to come back!
Our place was clean and the staff was super friendly!! One of our most pleasant experiences was with the valet / or manager we shared a few laughs and similarities being originally from the mid west ...also let us know of some awesome local foods which we really enjoyed
I booked four rooms for four nights for my family and friends to celebrate life after a huge family loss.
The wonderful memories created and precious time spent with each other was worth tenfold the amount of money I spent on this vacation.
We were here last year and we had a fabulous time. This year we got to enjoy the beautiful resort that was remodeled. We stayed in the villa suites with four bedrooms and four bathrooms!
Talk about pure luxury! If you can afford it, definitely book a villa! This is a slice of heaven. There were two patios, fire pits, grills, and we took advantage of every amenity.
We felt like we were in a completely different world, but we were only just a few hours away from home. My family and friends had such a great time!
You cannot beat the service here. It is absolutely top-notch! Shout out to several individual individuals who made our trip amazing: Miss Asia, Miss Angel, Mr. Gabriel! They took meticulous care of my reservations and my family and friends.
Victor, the valet manager took such amazing care of us. He remembered mine and my wife's name throughout our whole stay and made us feel welcome! The property was also beautiful, can't wait to visit again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our daughters and grandchildren. The staff, food and the many water activities were especially excellent.
It was a great experience overall. There were additional taxes/charges I wasn't aware of, but I am now aware for next time. The buffet in the restaurant was great, and the price for children to eat was appropriate. The beverages/food items at the store were expensive, and my usual energy drink tasted bad. It might have been old. I wish there was a water section for toddlers; however, we had fun.
My wife and I attended a conference at the resort in late June and were impressed. The resort is first-class, beginning with its outstanding staff, who were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The beautiful facilities reflect a distinctive Texas character. The course was beautifully maintained, with lush fairways and true, well-kept greens. The food and beverage service provided during the conference was exceptional. The resort's dining options were equally impressive, and the breakfast buffet was like being a kid in a candy shop. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we would gladly return.
The bathrooms were dirty our shower decal matter in drain . Hair around toilets just dirty bathroom we were in a suite!!!!!!!!!
I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio.
I have always enjoyed staying at Hyatt properties and make an effort to choose Hyatt whenever I travel because I have consistently had positive experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the level of service I have come to expect.
The air conditioning in our room would not cool properly despite being set to 65 degrees. We tried to sleep through it, but the room remained uncomfortably warm for our entire family. At approximately 12:15 a.m., I called the front desk and was advised that an engineer would be sent to our room to address the issue.
After waiting until around 1:35 a.m., no one had arrived, and I did not receive a follow-up call from the front desk. At that point, I simply gave up, as I was hot, uncomfortable, and unable to sleep.
I completely understand that unexpected issues happen and that there may have been circumstances that prevented someone from coming immediately. However, what was most frustrating was being told that assistance was on the way and then receiving no follow-up, communication, or resolution.
Additionally, I left feeling that this resort has become a “nickel-and-dime” experience. When paying nearly $400 per night for a room, I do not expect to encounter so many additional charges for amenities and activities. Fees for parking, kayak rentals, bike rentals, and other extras made what should have felt like a premium resort experience instead feel like every activity came with another charge attached.
I wanted to bring this experience to your attention because it was disappointing and not reflective of the excellent service I have come to associate with the Hyatt brand. As a loyal Hyatt guest, I hope you will take these concerns seriously and review both the lack of response to our room issue and the overall guest experience at this property.
The Hyatt Regency Hill Country has stepped it up another level in our family’s book! They have upgraded the property with a lagoon and the staff does everything from valet service to check-in, to housekeeping to the restaurant service and food in the most serviceable way. We look forward to returning for another relaxing weekend soon!
Needs major room renovation, tiny toilet/shower area. You could barely close the door for privacy, less than a 1” clearance. Air conditioner didn’t work either. Horrible night, mattress was stiff, pillows hard and sheets were stiff and scratchy. Worst night ever. Checked out at daybreak.
Amenities at the resort were abundant, with the new (lagoon) Big Spring, the driving range bays, and add the pickleball courts, the lazy river, the slide with smores, walking trails, game room, etc. you do not have to leave the resort for entertainment.
The hotel rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Lots of fun activities, especially the lazy river, adult pool/hot tub, lagoon, tennis/pickleball courts, gym, goat petting, smores, tote bag painting, and lots more! The food is on the expensive side, but at least there are places offered. It was quiet at night which was especially appreciated. The check-in process took longer than usual which is difficult when traveling with children, so a faster check in would be helpful. But all were very helpful and professional.
50 of my family members gathered for a family reunion. It was great place to go. There were two weddings the same weekend and it was Father’s Day / Juneteenth weekend. The hotel had enough space for all of us and it didn’t feel crowded except at the elevators since one wasn’t working.
