Makati Shangri-La Hotel and Resort Incorporated

I would like to share my experience during my dining at the Lobby Lounge and I hope this could help and be noted for everyones convenience. As someone who's keen into detail and always looking forward through excellent service, my experience overall if I could rate would be an 7/10. One thing is because I think there's still could be improve not just the way the staff are being accommodated but I also being mindful to every detail for example, the table clothing placed in my table was a bit crumpled and close to being discarded from the loose edges and has a little stains. The lap napkins has portions of like food debris as well that I think been used already which is a bit unhygienic to see for someone who has OCD.

These examples are something that a 5-star hotel is not A SHOULD HAVE from every corner of its level. But, on the other side, I am very thankful that everyone was very attentive when I raised my concern especially Ms. Kim, the supervisor on duty that night. She took my issues seriously and even note that everything will be handled carefully and even insist in offering me complimentary drink which I really appreciated. I really commend Ms. Kim and the lady casher (which I regret to get the name), for showing great empathy that makes every lapses during my dinner go away.

Our stay at Shangri-La Makati has been truly exceptional. We are currently on the third day of our five-day stay, and one of the absolute highlights of our experience has been the daily breakfast at Circles Event Café.

The breakfast selection is outstanding, offering a wonderful variety of high-quality dishes to suit every palate. What makes the experience even more memorable, however, is the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Every morning, we are greeted with genuine smiles and outstanding hospitality.

I would like to specially recognize Belle, Ally, Nikki, Jonas, Chef Maria, and Kurt, to name a few. Their customer service is truly exemplary. They are always approachable, attentive, and consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Belle, in particular, has such a warm and friendly presence, taking the time to greet guests personally and ensuring everyone is well looked after. Her attentiveness and genuine care perfectly embody the spirit of hospitality.

As for the hotel itself, Shangri-La Makati continues to impress. The property is impeccably clean, elegantly decorated, and beautifully maintained. Our room is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a wonderful place to relax after a day out. The hotel’s location is another major advantage—situated in the heart of Makati, it is within easy walking distance of Greenbelt and Glorietta, with countless shops, restaurants, and entertainment options just steps away.

From the excellent facilities to the outstanding service, every aspect of our stay has exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Shangri-La Makati and Circles Event Café. Among the many hotels I have stayed at over the years, this is undoubtedly one of my top favorites, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Location was great

Climate control was cool but the blow was directly I. The face when sleeping. Couldn’t be adjusted!

It was great to be back at this beautiful property again! Spent a wonderful 4 night stay in early May with family. Service, premise, accommodations, food continue to be top notch. From check in m through the stay, all staff was attentive and aimed to please the clientele. Rooms were very clean and well updated. The breakfast brunch is second to non in terms of the breadth of different cuisines offered and the sheer quantity of options - all of high quality. Location is perfect for access to shopping, parks, attractions and the core business district of Makati.
