Quiet neighborhood, convenient for shopping at Trader Joe's for food
Pros:

The room was clean, beds firm, bathroom very clean. Continental breakfast was the usual carb fare, including a pancake maker if you like making your own. It did include hard-boiled eggs for protein and fresh fruit (bananas and apples). Coffee was not lovely, but most places the coffee is not. Front desk folks were nice, as was housekeeping. I was in the 400 room block, which has a central courtyard with patio furniture and umbrellas fitted over the tables. It is entered from a front gate, which made the place feel both pleasant and secure. There is a Trader Joe's just a half-block away. There was a microwave and mini-fridge that was convenient to use and a small table at which to eat. It's not fancy, but it has character and was a good value.

Cons:

I did not realize that parking was for a fee -- $11 a day.

Très très bruyant à cause de la rue, la climatisation est très bruyante aussi, impossible de la laisser la nuit. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible. Le prix est vraiment trop élevé au vu de la qualité

Wir waren inzwischen das 3. Mal in dem Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist gut. Man kommt mit dem Bus zum Pier, zur Metro und mit Umsteigen auch zum Walk of Fame usw. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl.

Good experience.
Pros:

Room comfort. Great bed, super big bathroom with everything I needed. I had a goodnight sleep for sure.

Cons:

The attitude of the night staff. Not helpful at all + Breakfast wasn't great. I ended up feeling sick after trying it the first time. Not worth it.

Excellent location in Santa Monica

Excellent location near Santa Monica beach - two minutes walk to the bus that brings you there.
The location is clean. There is daily room service. Parking is included for a fee (10$/night), which is far less than other hotels nearby.

Cons:

Breakfast is good, but lacks savory options. All breakfast options are sweet. Coffee is good.
