We enjoyed our stay the food was really good thank you
View was lovely. Heaters sufficient. Mattress was comfortable. Wifi was a good speed.
It's very run down. Lots of damage to the paint. The ensuites are showers/baths with a toilet in a separate space, they are also like caravan bathrooms rather than a tiled space. The kitchen doesn't have a full fridge.
The couch was pretty uncomfortable. The pillows were incredibly lumpy. The gym was very underwhelming and tired. The building was also very rundown outside.
This building has a lot of potential and I hope the new owners can bring it back to its former glory/rework the bathroom/kitchen.
The hotel has a significant hill to walk down/up to the town so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues who wishes to not pay for parking in town.

I don’t like there is no microwave in room ,no plates , no tap to drink water when we call for tap to drink water staff said drink from toilet tap water . That’s really bad.

The sraff is helpful and professional. The room is clean and tidy.. The microvewave and kitchen sink is very handy.. The lakeview was amazing esoecially watching the sunset.
The grand stairs on the lounge to the lift. Although the staff helped to carry the luggages but the unnecessary. I am not sure if there is a ramp.
Also, in the bedroom the curtain should have another thin layer (see thtiugh). So, when you open the thick curtain, it is not too bright on your eyes from the sunlight while relaxing on the bed.
I booked a room with two double beds and it had plenty of space. It also had its own balcony with an amazing lake view, plus breakfast was included which was really good. The bus stop is right in front of the building, so it’s very accessible — one ride and you can easily get to Queenstown city, Frankton, and even the airport.
The beds were so comfy it was hard to get up! Coming back to a tidy and clean room every day was always nice after a long day out. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again. It’s perfect for some quiet and relaxing time after a busy day.
The breakfast was good too, although it would be even better if they changed some of the options for guests staying 3 days or longer.
Was on the first floor easily too acess all falcilities . resturant, room car park resturant and reception. Excepionally clean, Great shower. Really comfortable bed for me, great mattress. Quiet even though it was facing the road, Great sleep. Thank you to all the Copthorn staff. I will stay there again next time.
Obviously The only thing I would change would be the price. If they had a frequent traveller deal I would stay there next time Discounted price. I will have extra friends stay there.

The location is fab! Walk down the hill to town.. bus stop right outside if you don’t want to walk.. lovely view from the room
Bathroom looked a little tired due to age of property but shower was good, nice and hot so can’t complain
