Average hotel in an exciting region
Pros:

The hotel was functioning - not much more to say about it - and the weather was very nice.
Laidback athmosphere in the area Lugano-Paradiso.
The lake, the mountains, the nature are awesome.

Cons:

Upon arrival the receptionist was blaming us for having done a wrong reservation. When we showed our confirmation he refused to look at it and continued insulting us. Until he realised he was looking in the wrong database. Bad experience.
The hotel is tucked in between high buildings - no views - and has no bar or lounge area.
The bathroom had only one washing table and you had to step in the bad to take a shower.
No need to always repeat this but Switzerland is very expensive ...

A nice, comfortable and well equipped hotel. Would happily stay again.
Pros:

The breakfast buffet had an excellent choice and was well presented. The servers were efficient, friendly and non-intrusive with clearing the used dishes from the table.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The rooftop pool was a pleasant place to spend some time.

Cons:

The online check-in process was apparently a waste of time. It was still necessary to produce identification documents at the check-in desk. The online process seemed to provide no benefit to speeding up the physical check-in process.

It's also not the most easily reached hotel if arriving by train, but we knew that before we arrived.
