I felt the room was overpriced for what it was. The restaurant was closed so we couldn’t use it.
Friends stayed at another place that was half the price with comparable amenities.
Room was awesome
A little pricey
Staff were wonderful, beds were very comfortable, lovely access to town and beaches, but also extremely lovely to have everything so close as well.
Weekday breakfast would be great, even if minimal (baked goods, grab & go), upper floors are much more extreme as far as heat, humidity in hall and coming up from restaurant and building exhaust. Not terrible but far less manageable for any guests that are sensitive, or have asthma
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Daniel Webster Inn. Our room was spotless, well-appointed and charming. Our housekeeper, a young woman named Stacy, was sweet and accommodating. We slept so well on the Inn's comfy beds. When we discovered we had a flat tire, the staff was quick to assist us in any way. The saleswoman in the gift shop gave us suggestions on where to visit in Sandwich. We hope to visit this lovely inn in the near future. Thanks for a memorable stay.
We have been staying at the Inn for over thirty years. We love it there. We also chose the room to stay in room 21 the room is spacious and always clean. We also would highly recommend the restaurant good food, atmosphere and a great view of the garden. You need to try the Spa for a great massage.Great service all around and lots to do in the neighborhood!👍
The place was 1st class enjoyed every minute there.
Wonderful little inn in a lovely town. Charming, comfortable, cozy and clean. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we felt the staff cared about our experience. The room was absolutely spotless. The housekeeping staff and front desk staff are top notch and so friendly and welcoming. The mattresses were comfortable. The Inn was quiet, there was plenty of parking behind the building in a nice size lot as well as free street parking. The town was walkable and sidewalks led us in both directions to museums, shops and dining. We booked the whale watching package as well—absolutely amazing! We did not get to use the spa, and we did not eat in the restaurant. We will save that for next time.
My favorites
You could feel history in every room, nook, and cranny of the beautiful Daniel Webster Inn. Just wandering through the halls, or sitting in the Gathering Room (where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee welcomed you in the morning) was a treat in itself. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay.
The rooms were very nice and were well maintained by the staff.
There was no breakfast on Monday or Tuesday. A hotel of this caliber and price point should at a very minimum have a cold buffet. With no warning to go down for breakfast and be told the restaurant is closed but we can get ‘complimentary coffee or tea’ is inexcusable in a hotel that positions itself as a luxury hotel.
Lovely place in a quaint town!
