Dinner was good

It’s an old, historic inn.

Had an amazing time staying at the Daniel Webset Inn. The suite was great and we really enjoyed the heated floor that led from the tub to the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to get away from the kids for our anniversary. Smallest suggestion would be to have the bathrobes provided in the suite to be hung in the bathroom or on the bed instead of in the closet. We did not realize they were there until the morning after! Would highly recommend staying at the Inn and also getting dinner!

Spent two nights here on the recommendation of a friend.
Will not return.
Unable to get hot water for a shower even after letting management know.
My room was somewhat shabby.
If breakfast is not served during the week the hotel could at least provide something besides coffee in the morning. Maybe muffins or something.
Service in the dining room was terrible.
Food overpriced & not that good.
The only positive is that the inn is in a great location.

I have been to the Inn many times over the last 30yrs. It was comfortable and classy. I recently spent a couple of nights on a girls spa time and I was beyond disappointed. It has become very run down. The food was mediocre and the dinning room service nil. BUT no hot water in the shower was the deal breaker, even when we reported it. On a good note the spa was lovely.

Love the rooms! Very clean! Had a large shower and jacuzzi tub and the heated floor tiles were a nice surprise! We also love the cozy tavern for drinks and dinner.

We've now stayed in all of the famous historical Inns of New England and New York, and in coming here, we definitely saved one of the best for last. This is a beautiful property in the beautiful village of Sandwich, with comfortable rooms and an excellent full-service restaurant. We did visit in the off-season (where you trade reduced services for peace and quiet), but that is our normal and individual preference. In summer, we've heard that it bustles.

The restaurant was closed on our first day, but opened the following night for very well prepared Country Inn fare (the Chicken Pot Pie is almost a requirement of the genre, and no one does it better than here). On the first night, the thoughtful Inn staff guided us to local alternatives that were equally superb.

We'll be back!

Very pleasantly surprised with this very cozy Inn. Loved the remodeled bathroom with heated floors. Great big shower. Too bad no bench in there. The room was very large. Very clean and quiet room. Great restaurant. Food was very good. Overall our stay was wonderful.

During our recent stay at the Inn, we had a marvelous room experience. It had both a fireplace and a hot/jet tub. The service was great and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone!

Two safety related issues. Both of them involve the jetted tub. No hand rail to get in or out. To close the shades behind the tub very difficult in getting behind the tub.

Beautiful room. Heated tile floors in bath and jacuzzi tub area was awesome!
Friendly, courteous, helpful staff as well.

Ac was terrible and the bed was uncomfortable and the price oevf room didn't corespind

The ambiance was very nice. It was still decked out in holiday cheer. The fire places were very cozy. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and exceptionally clean. The location was central and we were able to access sites easily.
