erholsamer Stopp auf einer längeren Reise
Pros:

Die Bedienung war in jeder Hinsicht sehr freundlich und hilfreich, gute Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Hotel. Terrasse, die durch Bäume und Hecken gut gegen die vorbeiführende größere Straße abgeschirmt ist.

Cons:

Etwas, dass das Hotel nicht ändern kann. Die Kritik gehört eher der Stadt Lugano: Berge und See grandios, aber vieles zugebaut. Keine grundsätzliche Kritik.

A very good hotel - but watch out for the traffic!
Pros:

The hotel is large, airy and attractively designed. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped, as was the bathroom. We had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant, which is just next door to the hotel. Lugano, although quite big and busy, is a very pretty place, and we enjoyed strolling along the lake and people-watching after dinner.

Cons:

We hit Lugano at Friday rush hour, and it was absolutely rammed. Either choose a location further out of town, or factor this in to your arrival time!

Very smart hotel with excellent hospitality.
Pros:

Easy to find with a large car park. Upmarket hotel with an excellent welcome at the large Reception and very helpful staff. Great pool. Very comfortable rooms with balcony and lake view. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

It is up the hill from the lake and city centre.
