Pros:

Very friendly & helpful staff. We left some valuable in the room while rushing to catch our onward journey train. Staff were kind to post those valuable to our home address.

Very helpful staff at front desk.
Pros:

Location. We parked the car and did not need to move it until we left for our next destination. Short walk to the ferry, took us to Gandria. Short walk into Paradiso and to the San Salvatore funicular. Americans will feel right at home with breakfast here. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, plus fruits and cereals. And also the cheeses and hams that Europeans have for breakfast.

Ein rundum schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt, herzliches Personal, wunderbarer Garten mit Pool
Pros:

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war auch während der Hitzeperiode angenehm gekühlt, und der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool war eine echte Wohltat. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die Möglichkeit, zwischen zwei Restaurants mit unterschiedlichem Angebot zu wählen – der Pizzeria mit italienischer Küche und dem Gartenrestaurant mit gehobener Küche.

Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir das ausgesprochen freundliche, persönliche und liebenswürdige Personal. Die offene und spontane Art hat wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlgefühlt haben.

Sehr geschätzt haben wir zudem den unkomplizierten und zuverlässigen Umgang mit Zöliakie. Sie wurde ernst genommen, und passende glutenfreie Alternativen waren problemlos möglich. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich entspannt und angenehm gemacht.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen sowohl das Hotel als auch die Gastronomie wärmstens.

Cons:

Es gab wirklich kaum etwas, das uns nicht gefallen hätte. Einzig am Empfang war die Verständigung durch die Glasscheibe manchmal etwas schwierig, da teilweise sehr leise gesprochen wurde. Das ist jedoch nur eine kleine Anmerkung und hat unseren rundum positiven Eindruck in keiner Weise getrübt.
