Rooms were nice and updated. The kitchenette was a plus. Comfortable beds.
They missed servicing our room despite them offering and said it would be taken care of. Parking garage tight and a bit scary.
Heater in room 215, inoperable. Space heater was loud and needed to be placed in an inconvenient location.
The location was perfect, and the room was so comfortable! They even gave us a free little portable doggy water bowl for our dog when we checked in. We used it a lot on the rest of our roadtrip!!
Location, walking distance to everything in Downtown Portland
Elevators, Reception area and oder - old building
The front staff was so helpful and were ready to help in anyway possible, but the hotel and the room itself was not great. First it was kinda dirty we found a dead roach under the bed, the shower flooded the whole bathroom and it didn’t get fixed they just gave us another room to shower in which was nice but the shower wasn’t nearly as nice as the one that was in the room I booked for. The phone in the room was dead and also didn’t get fixed. The area the hotel is in is reaalllyyyy bad don’t go walking at night lol
Really bad area of town, dirty room, shower was messed up and flooded the bathroom
Large room, happy hour, good coffee downstairs, friendly helpful staff, location - Powell's book store, 2 good restaurants we tried right on our block, other Pearl District attractions.
Coffee in room, little cafe or at least breakfast in the hotel, expensive parking
The location is great! I love Powell books, Anthropology and Jakes Grill. After checking in with the friendly staff I went around the corner of the hotel and parked my car and brought my luggage up to the room, which took just minutes.
The room was well appointed with a marble bathroom, and vanity room en-suite with the bathroom.
I left the car parked and walked to my destinations….Nordstroms, Cheryl’s and Powells. The park blocks are close, along with the beautiful old churches around the area.
The Mark Spenser will definitely be my new go to when visiting Portland.
The staff were fantastic! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The hotel was very clean and decorated cute. The bed was extremely comfy and had lots of pillows!
The elevators were kinda scary 😬
We had an emergency, requiring a hotel stay. We called at 10pm and were in our room very soon after. The staff were amazing and helpful, especially welcoming of our dog with special comforts for him.
The room was clean and comfortable and we all slept very well. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, great location, good value
Very clean and great staff. Private underground parking
Parking is expensive
We had a beautiful and surprisingly large room with lovely amenities. The hotel staff was welcoming and knowledgeable
