Wonderful location and professional service
Pros:

This was my second visit to this hotel, and it did not disappoint. Service was terrific. Before arriving, the concierge recommended terrific restaurants, and after leaving Shutters, the hotel mailed back something I had left in the room via complimentary FedEx. The hotel is an easy 15-minute drive to the Getty Museum. and LACMA. The rooms are large and well appointed

Fantastico!
Pros:

My son and I stayed for several days while attending USC graduation ceremonies. Shutters is exceptional in every sense of the word. From arrival to departure and everything in between, Shutters' staff made sure you were catered to. The facilities are also first rate and you simply can't beat the location if it's a SoCal beach vacation that you are looking for.

Absolutely lovely!!
Pros:

Such a lovely hotel!! The staff is so nice and welcoming. Coast is a terrific restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner there . Excited to visit again soon !

Cons:

The bed could have been put on the other wall so that when you lay in it you can see the ocean .

Amazing stay
Pros:

Amazing staff! Always happy to help with whatever you ask from them.

The place is planned down to the smallest detail, both in aesthetics and comfort.

The food is very tasty, loved everything.

Cons:

It was a bit chilly during our stay, so we couldn’t really enjoy the pool, although we did see other people using it. Not the hotel’s fault of course.
Hopefully next time ;)

Excelente hotel com ótimos espaços e zonas comuns. Muito bem decorado e com uma memorável localização frente ao mar. Quartos espaçosos, bem decorados e muito confortáveis. Serviço excelente e empregados muito atenciosos e extremamente simpáticos

Pros:

The location is excellent for my taste, as it is right in front of the beach and you can ride a bike around the entire area and really enjoy the vibe.

Cons:

* The rooms do not have good soundproofing or insulation from outside noise.
* The bathroom has no sound insulation from the bedroom and offers no privacy at all.
* The room is not as spacious as it should be.
* The restaurant and bar do not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.

I have stayed at both hotels of the group, which are next to each other, and they both have the same issues.

Eines der besten Hotels in super Lage.
Pros:

Top Lage des Hotels im Ralph Lauren Style. Die Ruhe und Gelassenheit im Hotel ist hervorragend. ALLE Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich, selbst die Hausmeister grüßen auf der Straße. Mega Wasserdruck in der Dusche wie ich ihn noch nie in einem Hotel gesehen habe. Ein tolles Hotel mit einzigartigem Flair. Ich würde immer wieder dort übernachten. Damit wird der Urlaub in LA/ Santa Monica zum Erlebnis.

Cons:

Preis ist schon heftig aber es ist halt eines der besten Hotels in Santa Monica. Das Badezimmer inkl. der Toilette ist leider extrem hellhörig, schade bei solch einem Hotel!

The staff were superb, very accommodating and helpful. Use of the town car was next level!

Truth - the area was a little scary in the evenings - there are a lot of homeless.
