Pros:

The wow factor when walking into the hotel continues into the bar/restaurant and also the rooms, no disappointment. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Having water filters on each floor really were a bonus.
Location is also ideal for being close to the center but away from the crowds.

Saturday night without drinks
Pros:

The room was upgraded and had character, breakfast with the river view was a bonus. The check in team were wonderful.

Cons:

Although the room was full of character it was also full of dust above the bed. The air con device seemed to be for show as it wouldn't let me adjust a cold room. However the bar was the most disappointing, came back on Saturday night and the bar was unattended, when the girl came back there was no courteous apology. Ordered 2 cocktails in miniature glasses, I ordered a strawberry dacquiri but she used raspberry syrup, my wife had something I had never seen before... It was completely translucent and devoid of any taste or flavour. £20 for that experience, what was most distasteful was that upon leaving some bar staff whom had turned up where laughing with her about the raspberry, apparently the strawberry syrup was under her nose. Live and learn, but will not be returning.

Tolle Lage, sehr umfangreiches und auch gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Zimmer sind sauber.
Pros:

Die Lage in Castlefield ist ein Traum, und man trotzdem in 10min zu Fuß mitten im Zentrum

Cons:

Nur die Hälfte der Steckdosen in unserem Zimmer haben funktioniert.
