Excellent location. Room was well appointed, though the shower was a bit weak and we didn’t like the shower-stopper glass panel. Roof-top bar, though pricey, offers fantastic views of the Danube.
The hotel’s Danube-side entrance doesn’t even have a hotel name signage. (We got a problem locating the hotel when arriving.) Staff at reception and concierge are not very enthusiastic, quite passive in serving customer enquiries. Jacuzzi’s water was only lukewarm, and the steam sauna got no steam.

My experience at this hotel was fantastic! The hotel is top-notch and well-maintained, and the staff goes above and beyond. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Budapest.
Best hotel ever. The location is amazing and the staff went out of their way to make at every opportunity. I typically travel on business alone, but this time my wife joined me and was blown away by the kindness and accommodations Marriott provides to its loyal members. Special thanks to Anna for making the visit even more special. Guest service gets a 12 point rating out of 10.

I especially want to recognize Julius at the M Club. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, and he always made us feel very welcome. His excellent service made our time at the M Club even more enjoyable.

The room was immaculate, bed was comfortable, and the view from our room’s wind was great with good view of the Danube river front. My only complaint was at the buffet dinner. The food was tasty and fresh tasting but the hot dishes were on the cool side. The deserts were excellent thought

Great location. Everything is around you, the city center is very close, and all rooms have river views.

Situated beside the Danube River, the hotel offers a view of magnificent buildings and the bustling scene along the river from the window. It is an excellent choice, whether you want to visit scenic spots or experience the lively atmosphere along the Danube. Although I didn’t get the privilege of being upgraded to a corner room, it still left me with a wonderful and profound memory of my trip. The breakfast was rich and varied, and Marriott members are treated with the utmost respect here.
I think I will travel to Budapest again because of this Marriott hotel, and I hope to stay in a corner room next time. It has also given me the motivation to strive for a lifetime Platinum membership.
The Marriott location is absolutely perfect overlooking Buda Palace right next to the river cruises. Being on the Pest side, everything is easily accessible.
The main reason to stay at the hotel is in phenomenal staff! SZONJA and Julius made our stay so special.
We stayed here for one night before joining a Danube cruise. The hotel is in a very good location, all the rooms have views of the Danube. The breakfast was good and there is a lovely rooftop bar.
