The Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina

I have full paid the room via Agoda. But my card was charged $26.xx after checking out. Asked the hotel and explained it was only a pending. When I received the credit card statement, it was actually charged $77.35 with a refund of $37.45, all these strange charges without explanation.

This hotel has one of the best locations in all of Newburgh. The entire hotel could use a little sprucing up, but it is still a wonderful place to stay

Great location, in walking distance to all the restaurants and entertainment. The staff was amazing ! Gave great recommendations . Our room was water front, the sunset was beautiful.

We had a wonderful time in Newport! The staff was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I truly appreciated the time and effort they put into making sure we had a great experience.

I highly recommend the first-floor rooms that walk directly out to the harbor. They were bright, clean, comfortable, and the view was amazing. The outdoor fire pit and lawn games were an added bonus and made it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting.

The location is fantastic, and the outstanding customer service made our stay even more memorable. We would happily stay here again!

Location and friendly staff.

The bed was very comfortable. Lovely sunset view from the balcony overlooking the harbor. The location is perfect for exploring the wharves of Newport by foot. A wonderful home base. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was very nice.

Here for the weekend - but weather turned rainy & windy, so went to the lounge but closed for an event. Then all the staff accommodated us while they set up for the event with food & beverage & friendly service even though "closed". Saved our day!

Great location, within walking distance of restaurants and the Harbor Walk. It was easy to find small streets on the hill with houses related to Newport History, with their QR codes to scan.
We were lucky to witness 3 different incredible sunsets from our room, as well as varied harbor activities.

Hotel staff were friendly and were able to accommodate us early so that we had time to get ready for an event we were attending that evening.

The room was small but the view was amazing of the harbor. There was some water damage in our room from a leaky shower and there were no USB outlets in the room (also no pen which is odd). Loved that the window opened so you can get fresh air, but over all the hotel is solid but just needs an update.

The restaurant was really nothing special. We went for breakfast and felt it was just okay. Not really worth the $40 price tag when there are so many other options right there.

The location of this place is the big selling point. It is easy to get to, easy to walk around Bowen's Warf and surrounding areas. We loved getting to see the boats and hanging out outside in the early morning hours.

Rooms were old and worn for the price and location of the hotel. Property needs updating and renovations. Would not stay again.

Everything went well. I had no complaints.

This hotel is in an ideal location for a Newport holiday. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The historical district is nearby. The bus and trolley stop is close. The pool is a nice temperature.
The only misgiving I have is that the room was a bit musty smelling.

Our experience was fine except for the $35 convenience fee they charge at checkout. I asked what it was for and they said for internet and the free waters they gave us in the room. The waters aren’t free if they charged $35. I didn’t even use their internet. Very disappointed in this policy after paying so much for the room
and parking.

Location

Plus - could really walk and explore the many streets of Newport from location. The hotel itself is a tired, low service Hotel

Very disappointing. It’s a very old hotel that needs to be upgraded. Way overpriced. We asked for our room to be cleaned. They said they don’t do that mid stay.
