Best stay yet
Pros:

We loved the staff all friendly and professional. We loved the size of the one bedroom suite and the fact it came with a kitchen. We loved the location, never have I been so downtown

Cons:

Everything was a bit worn down and dated. The carpet was a bit dirty, the constant sirens as the hotel is next to a hospital.

Pros:

とにかく便利な場所です。
少し高級なので、ウェルカムドリンクや無料のマップをタダでもらうとかそういう雰囲気ではないです。
コインランドリーは5階にヒッソリとあり、部屋のカードキーを入口のところでかざして入ります。値段は高くなく、数も複数あるので良いです。両替機や洗剤の販売機もあり、わざわざフロントに行かなくてもいいので使いやすいです。コインランドリー以外にデスクトップパソコンとプリンター、トイレもありました。

I enjoyed my stay very much except for the safety issue in my room.
Pros:

Excellent view from my room of the beautiful Butterfly building! Location of the hotel was great and within walking distance to my meeting location, restaurants, and shopping!

Cons:

Paying for parking my car in garage. #1 issue was a health and safety issue. I reported it to the front desk, but was not given reassurance that the issue would be looked at or taken care of. Having a medical background, I found that going to the window to look at my excellent view, I kept scrapping my foot against the bottom of the metal grate (which I found out was the heater grate. I was barefooted in my room and scrape my toes several time, but the last time it drew blood & I had to use my first aid kit to stop the bleeding. Took about 10 minutes to stop bleeding & to clean it & apply antibiotic ointment.. Home now, but still have scar on toe as token of my stay. I told front desk (male) if I was a hemophiliac (Bleeder), that would be a serious medical problem. The grate should have a smooth cover over the jagged cut edges or turn the edges up so not to scrape someone's feet/toes. Told front desk, that was a dangerous liability for the hotel! No answer. I hope that this safety issue is followed up on by upper hotel management before my next visit. I DO have pictures of the metal grate that I showed the front desk clerk, but I will not add it to my review to discourage other visitors. I will welcome any followup or response from the hotel managers or corporate office.

Great Location and wonderful staff
Pros:

Located next to St Paul's Hospital was ideal as I had day surgery at the hospital. Great hotel and accommodating staff.

Cons:

One day, I noticed that my hairbrush was missing. I searched my entire room but couldn’t find it, so I asked the front desk if they could check with housekeeping, as I was quite sure I had left it in the BATHROOM.
It wasn’t an expensive or particularly valuable hairbrush, so I wasn’t assuming that it had been stolen. I thought it was more likely that a housekeeper might have placed it on their cleaning cart while cleaning the bathroom and simply forgotten to put it back. That was why I asked the front desk to check with housekeeping, just in case.

Looking back, I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I had left a relatively small tip that day, as I didn’t have much cash on hand at the time. I got some cash that same day, and from the following day onward, I left a proper tip by the bedside before leaving the room.

After I contacted the front desk, I didn’t hear anything, so I assumed that the hairbrush had not been found. Then, two days later, I suddenly found it sitting by itself on a shelf in the BEDROOM. I asked the front desk if housekeeping had mentioned where they found it, but I was simply told, “We didn’t hear anything, but it's there now!”.
What I found unsettling was that it suddenly reappeared after two days, and I was disappointed that no one contacted me even after it had been found. I would have appreciated being informed about what had happened.

In the meantime, I had purchased and used a new hairbrush since I needed one, but because it is something I use directly on my hair, I honestly felt uncomfortable using the original brush after it was found.

I can’t help wondering whether the small tip that day had anything to do with what happened, although I have no way of knowing for sure. Regardless, this one incident was a disappointing experience.

Great hotel in a good location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, our room was amazing with fantastic views. Cafe downstairs, bus stop at your door and a grocery store is a 3 min walk.

Cons:

Enjoyed it all

Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel ältern Baujahres im Herzen von Vancouver downtown.
