Overall we enjoyed staying at this hotel and would do so again, the staff were wonderful.
Pros:

The spacious room was fantastic, the location was absolutely superb. Very comfortable beds, and nice and quiet at night, we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The airconditioner did not work, the window curtains did not block out the light sufficiently. Also some lights in the room did not work and the lifts were a little slow during peak times.

Pros:

The location is great, close to Robson Plaza and Grandville street. Close to many stores and restaurants. Both metro lines are 10 minutes away, and within 20 minutes walk you can reach Canada place and stanley park. The stadium and Gastown are about 25 minutes easygoing walk.

Cons:

Besides the lobby, the hotel is showing its age. The carpet on the walkways is worn. The elevators are spotty and the buttons don't light up on some floors. In our room, the windows are single panel, which means we heard the pleasant sounds of geese, ducks, and seagulls all night. And unfortunately, the constant sound of police and ambulance sirens (there're several homeless persons nearby). The window shades don't close completely and had to get creative to keep light out. The bathroom shower faucet and handle were loose and the toilet wobbles.

Central stay
Pros:

Location was perfect to visit Vancouver downtown and its main attractions; we had an appartement with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette; nice view ( our appartement was on 23rd floor)

Cons:

Complementary internet did not work ( although it conncented, it was practically inpossible to load dara); the fan in the washroom was very loud (we did not use it); complimentary breakfest is a voucher for up to 30 CAN Dollars per person in the restaurant (and it may not be sufficient to cover a breakfest plate, coffee, juice); long waiting time for elevators ( usually only 2 of 4 were working); the hotel is located on a main road and next to a hospital, so there is a road buzz all the time from the street. Though it was OK.

Pros:

Good location. Room was spacious. Pool water was nice. Service was quick. Pool area, locker room and gym seemed clean enough.

Cons:

The room felt grimey and dirty (bed was clean though). The room also felt empty. It felt like there wasn't much attention to detail. The bathtub didn't feel the cleanest and the bathroom in general feels dated. Elevators were very slow as 2/4 were basically not working. The gym, pool, locker room and sauna in the basement were questionable. Definitely felt like an abandoned warehouse. Sauna was pretty bad as it didn't feel clean in there, and the seal had gaps so it warmed up the entire locker room. I saw reviews on sirens throughout the night, but I think the elevators made more consistent noise. You can hear things from outside your door and window pretty well, so there wasn't really good soundproofing. The price tag was a bit expensive for what I have experienced.

직원들이 프로페셔널하지않음 부킹닷컴으로 예약을 수십번했는데 이름을 오기입했다고 예약을 못찾음; 예약번호를 보여주려는데 질문대충몇개하더니 못알아듣는게 귀찮다는듯 한국직원한테토스 오로라 밤샘하고 새벽도착해서 컨디션이 별로라 짜증나는 상황인데 한국인 여직원도 설명조차안함 그뒤 매니저가 바로 예약찾아줌 그 두직원은 사과도 안함 진짜 기분 더러웠음 나머지 다른 직원들은 다 친절했음 4월 10일 오전 근무한 두명임
