A very good experience
Pros:

Location was great and very close to the parking the hotel offers, the hotel was immaculately clean, the man at the front desk was very polite and friendly. We didn’t eat there but to be able to have Gino D’ Acampo’s food as room service is a massive plus

Cons:

Personal preference but I like a bath.

Great location and altogether very good
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and clean and all staff were polite and helpful.

Cons:

1- The fridge in the room was on but was not cool at all.
2- Although we knew that we had to pay for our breakfast, I was not expecting to pay when we came down for breakfast and in fact I had to return to our room to fetch my bank card.

Location fantastic I think breakfast needs attention & bar staff need customer care course

Location excellent & the staff on reception was excellent

Cons:

The breakfast was very average & the food was cold there was a shortage of food on offer. The bar staff was just worried about closing telling us the bar was closing at 11.10 pm & mixing drinks under the counter I asked for a gin & tonic & vodka red bull & never so the mixers until I asked for them they should be served to the customer

Pros:

Location is spot-on (for trains/shopping/entertainment) etc. Rooms were exactly as we booked, and perfect for our needs - and next door to each other, as requested.
Great touch from staff in leaving a lovely birthday gesture - balloons, small cakes, written card from hotel staff - VERY much appreciated 😁. We have stayed there once before, and liked it very much then - this latest stay has confirmed how good this hotel & staff are! It’s the lovely little extra surprise touches that take you up & beyond. Thank you very much👍😁

Ideal Location
Pros:

We travelled from York on the train as we were going to the cricket for the day and eating out at night. The hotel os a great stay anyway, and lives up to all expectations but being so close to the station is ideal. It also allowed us the chance to leave our bag and take an Uber to Headingley.

Cons:

Nothing - we were given a quieter room which wasn't expected. Couldn't ask for more!
