Overall the best staff was the night manager who had to deal with my complaint and breakfast staff
Pros:

Not enough staff and small portions on buffet so had to wait for one staff to refill and do drinks, too much for one or two people with busy weekend

Cons:

The parking was £15 overnight and the hotel already expensive. The disabled lift wasn’t working and caused wheelchair user to have to go through the kitchen to enter hotel however staff did their best to compromise and gave us longer checkout and free parking which was accepted and appreciated for the inconvenience.

Cons:

Reception didn’t know opening hours for children to use the swimming pool, leading to disappointed children. Pool run by outside company but available for free use by guests despite being within hotel building. Had quite limited hours for children.

Lovely front of house welcome and a great bedroom

Lovely comfortable and generously sized room. Cosy bed with good linen and pillows. Nice, well stocked bathroom and a decent TV and coffee machine

Cons:

It may well have been timing but buffet breakfast was “so so” - seemed to have been refreshed just after I grabbed mine but no butter, no eggs, a couple of scraps of bacon and a mushy bottom of the barrel hash brown when I went to grab mine. What I ate was well cooked and warm, but similar standard hotels in the area hold up better at what is quite a premium price.

Good quaint stay
Pros:

The location was great and I liked the charm of an older hotel . Staff were friendly and rooms were very big

Cons:

The beds were hard , room service trays were being left in the corridor for a long period ( not ours) . They were cleared when notified reception.

Exceptional service, comfort and location⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham from Friday through Monday, travelling from the Netherlands, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience.

From the moment I arrived, every single member of staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Whether it was the reception team, the restaurant, or the bar staff, everyone was consistently warm, professional, and friendly 🤗

The rooms are spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the bed… wow! I honestly had some of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. I especially loved that there was a choice of different pillow sizes, so I could pick the one that suited me best.

The bathroom was just as impressive. The shower was hot within seconds and had great water pressure, and there was a lovely bathtub to unwind in after a busy day. I also really appreciated having a proper hairdryer and an iron with an ironing board in the room. These little things make a big difference when you’re travelling, and they’re not something I find in every hotel. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a nice variety of continental breakfast items as well as a delicious Full English Breakfast. You can even have eggs freshly cooked exactly the way you like them.

Dinner was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the flavours were absolutely spot on.

Another highlight was the hotel’s fantastic leisure facilities. The 24/7 gym is well equipped, which made it easy to fit in a workout whenever it suited me. After a busy day, it was wonderful to relax in the spa and enjoy the heated swimming pool.

The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely coffee shop, a supermarket, and convenient stores for phone and shoe repairs. Birmingham’s shopping centre and many fantastic restaurants and bars are only a five-minute walk away. And for the ladies: there’s an amazing skin clinic right across the street!

Overall, this was a true five-star experience for me. I will definitely be staying here again whenever I’m back in Birmingham. Highly recommended!

Our three-night stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham was simply exceptional from beginning to end.
The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Birmingham, making it an ideal choice whether you’re visiting for business or exploring the city. Many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas are within easy walking distance.
From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help created a warm and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The level of hospitality was truly outstanding.
Our room was immaculate, modern, and very well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were perfect we enjoyed a peaceful and restful sleep every night. It was exactly what we needed after busy days in the city.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. Everything was well presented, and the service in the restaurant was just as impressive as the rest of the hotel.
What made this stay truly memorable was the consistently exceptional service. Every interaction with the hotel team was pleasant, and they genuinely cared about ensuring guests had a wonderful experience.
My husband, my friend, and I had an amazing three days here, and we created wonderful memories that we will always cherish.
As an official reviewer on both TripAdvisor and Google, I stay at many hotels and pay close attention to the overall guest experience. Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham exceeded our expectations in every way.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Birmingham, whether for business or leisure. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Nice Hotel apart from the Bar.
Pros:

Location for Edgbaston Stadium

Cons:

The Bar did not have much choice, and it shut at 23:00 very poor for a 4 star hotel, maybe use the Park next year if it has a later Bar.
