It was fine.
Pros:

Good location, nice staff

Cons:

The bathroom was rough. The toilet bowl had what looked like mildew. Some of the bathroom floor and shower tile grout was black with mildew.

Good clean hotel
Pros:

Location was decent. It was clean and staff were very nice

Cons:

Coffee pot had no outlet for it use, had to move it around the room, the handle for the toilet and shower were loose. Just the details were not 100 %

Not very clean and no room service.
Pros:

Location was good, very central and close to everything. Have good restaurants just around the corner.

Cons:

The rooms were kind of gross. Very old and unclean. There was mold in the bathroom. The mattress was sunken from usage, the hallway smelled really bad, the lobby ceiling was unfinished and gross. The bedsheets weren’t clean and we needed to call in everyday to get fresh towels and there were not room service at all. For 250$ a night this is not some cheap motel we are staying at and the quality was just disappointing.

Pros:

Everything about this hotel was great! The staff was exceptional, the location is perfectly in between Gaslamp and Little Italy, as well as short drive to the airport. As a tourist, we appreciated the tips and recommendations from the hotel staff so much. We had a late flight and the staff kindly stored our luggage at the hotel until we had to go. Although we didn’t need the valet, they never failed to greet us and even helped us get our luggage into our uber.

it was a very nice hotel although we picked a room with a view we did not get a good view. however, it was very nice so was the staff very accommodating and helpful with any needs you need, the room keepers are also very nice and i liked how close it was to everything in downtown for a good price will stay here again!

Wasn’t the best hotel to stay in but if you just care for the location and not the stay and the amenities then is okay.

The location is great, front desk stuff is helpful

Cons:

The whole establishment is super dated, rooms are dirty, they say housekeeping by request if that happens at all, AC goes crazy every once in a while (meaning I put the set point to 71 one day I woke up freezing, cause it went to 60, the other day sweating, cause it went to 80…)

Pros:

If it were possible to leave less than 1 star I would. The ceiling of the hotel collapsed, San Diego Fire Department came and evacuated the building. The hotels ONLY response was to give us a "free bottle of water" from 'store' in the lobby.
Further - they claimed to have high end shampoo and soap, that they specifically told me was "dye safe" - my daughter's hair dye ran (comic con cos play) after a shower, which stained a towel and a pillow case. They charged an additional 250$ in "damages". I will NEVER stay there again, and Id advise extreme caution to anyone thinking of staying...

The location was good

Cons:

No AC in the lobby, was extremely hot when we walked in. Staff nowhere to be found, spent more than 5 minutes waiting to be helped checking in. Bathroom door didn’t work, friend and I each got stuck in there because the track was broken so door wouldn’t slide open. Shower was grimy and wifi did not work.
