Quirky underground tunnel linking the various buildings forming the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location.
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel 15 years ago & were pleased to find it still as special as we remembered. Fabulous location close to all the attractions. Beautiful historical building & very helpful staff. Would recommend.

Very quirky, unusual hotel has to be seen to be believed

It was a really quirky unusual hotel made up of 37 houses joined by underground tunnels.

Cons:

Our only complaint about the property is that the way to the pool and restaurant weren’t signposted and as it was such a labyrinth of tunnels we had difficulty locating them, although the reception was signposted
