Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Dogs are welcome and T&C's apply. Maximum of 2 dogs per room. An anti-allergy deep cleaning fee of £30 for 1 dog and £50 for 2 dogs will apply. For stays longer than 7 days, there will be additional weekly fee of £50.

Not all rates include breakfast. If you book a breakfast inclusive rate, breakfast is offered for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old.

Parking controls are in operation. Your car registration must be input at the terminals during check-in.

The credit or debit card used to make the booking must be available on check in at the hotel.

I will not stay here again

That I got Marriott points

Cons:

Bulky loud portable heating units in room, Phone broken so couldn’t call front desk/room service, suggested fixes by staff were not helpful, cannot pre-order morning room service, gym only opens at 6am, morning room service only starts at 7am, restaurant staff didn’t offer to carry my tray of food, no mayo, no caffeinated instant coffee for room

A good hotel that provides easy access to airport and city centre via bus.
Pros:

Very convenient location close to the airport and right across the road from the bus that takes you into the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed me to check in early. The room was spacious and very comfortable.
The food was excellent as well.

Cons:

The hotel is somewhat dated and the elevator was out of service during my stay. There is a service elevator for those who can’t manage the stairs.

Schöner Aufenthalt, top Lage!
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in 7 Autominuten beim Flughafen und mit 10 min Fußmarsch sowie 30 min Tram direkt im Zentrum. Einkaufszentrum in 10 min Fußmarsch erreichbar. Frühstück mit sehr guter Auswahl. Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Der Lift hat die ganze Woche nicht funktioniert. Die Zimmer wirkten nach der Reinigung aufgeräumt aber nicht komplett sauber.

Expensive for what you get at this hotel
Pros:

Spacious room. Good breakfast. Helpful and welcoming staff

Cons:

Bed was too firm for my comfort. Wear and tear obvious in the room. Over-bath shower is not what I expect in a hotel these days. Lifts were unavailable due to ongoing maintenance. There were 3 lift shafts so surely it was possible to operate at least one? As octogenerians it was not comfortable to be on the 3rd floor

Sadly not what it used to be.
Pros:

The staff were positive and responsive. Restaurant facilities bright and well organised, communal areas mostly well finished (upgraded). Well located for travel links.

Cons:

There was no bed set up for our son despite including him on the booking, we had to request bedding. The bathroom in our room needed upgrading. Lift was out of order and changing area of swimming pool needed repair. We also got several emails about upgrades/costs we had already paid for.

Abbiamo pernottato tre notti. Hanno cambiato gli asciugamani solo una volta. Non hanno rifatto la stanza. Lasciate le tazze del caffè sporche. Abbiamo chiesto la carta igienica e l'abbiamo dovuta prendere noi dal carrello.

No andaban los ascensores en los 3 días que estuvimos
No nos asearon la habitación el 1er día
Al 2do día los que asearon la habitación o quien ingresó a hacer el servicio nos quitaron un chocolate
No retiraron las rollas usadas Solo trajeron otras
Lamentable experiencia que espero sea reconocida y que el establecimiento tome medidas urgentes
