Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Reichhaltiges Früstücksbuffet. Sehr nettes Personal. kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Ruhig im Zimmer trotz Flughafennähe. Kleines Kinderspielzimmer. Fitnessraum mit toller Ausstattung (haben wir aber nicht verwendet). Gute Lage (neben Busstation) mit Shopping Mall in der Nähe zu Fuß erreichbar.
Als wir das Zimmer bezogen haben, war ein brauner 10cm Fleck im WC am Boden. Nach Beanstandung wurde er entfernt.
Wir waren 4 Nächte. Nur ein einziges Mal wurde das Zimmer und die Betten gemacht.
Die Betten sind etwas hart. Das Spa wurde seit 1973 (Eröffnung) sicher noch nicht renoviert und ist in dementsprechenden Zustand (haben wir aber aufgrund anderer Rezenzionen im Vorfeld bereits gewusst und war nicht weiter störend. Spa-Urlaub würde ich aber doch besser wo anders machen).

20-25mins from city centre. Theres problem of airconditioning and hot water, but the works are going on to get these sorted.

Good location, next to busses to city centre.
Our room for three adults wasn't comfortable. Two main beds were too soft, the third bed was just folding and uncomfortable at all. Whats pitty is the overal "obsolescence" of hotel, which seems outfasioned 🙂. Only one lift for the hotel? Other is under renovation, whon know how long....Cleaness? Bathroon uncleaned and mirror needs to be exchanged....
La habitación nos ha gustado mucho. Era muy amplia y cómoda, y contaba con dos camas de matrimonio muy grandes, lo que hizo que la estancia fuera especialmente confortable. También disponía de varios amenities que siempre son un detalle de agradecer.
El armario y la televisión cumplían perfectamente su función, y el baño, aunque sencillo, era correcto y estaba bien equipado. En general, una habitación espaciosa, cómoda y agradable, perfecta para disfrutar de una estancia confortable.
El desayuno nos sorprendió gratamente: abundante y muy variado, con opciones para todos los gustos.
El SPA es otro de los puntos fuertes del hotel, ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de un momento de descanso.
Y, sin duda, una de las mejores cosas es la ubicación y la comodidad del transporte: nada más salir del hotel hay una parada de autobús que permite llegar fácilmente tanto al centro como al aeropuerto. Un detalle que facilita muchísimo los desplazamientos.
En conjunto, una experiencia muy positiva. Un hotel cómodo, bien comunicado y con servicios que hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable. Sin duda, repetiríamos.

Velmi dobrá poloha. Postele byly široké a pohodlné. Pokoj byl čistý a útulný. Snídaně byly dobré.

When arrived, the window was opened. Later we realized why, it is not able to be closed, it is damaged....
Before visiting pool (which was btw nice), was necessary to ask at the reception to get bathrobe and slippers), after step into mens changing room, one of two showers not working (stays longer, the same during my first stay there week ago).
The bathrooms in the rooms could be better. Specifically the bath tubs were so high from the floor that to get into them one needs to be good at jumping over hurdles.
