Grand Hyatt Istanbul

It is not my first visit here and every time the experience is nice. Room was big and the bed was super comfortable. Selection for the breakfast is quite big with the omelet station and pancakes. Definitely a hotel that I will be returning to.

My wife and I spent an excellent week in this impressive and beautiful hotel, conveniently located very close to Taksim Square and just a few minutes by metro from Sultanahmet and its must-see mosques, such as the Blue Mosque, as well as many other fascinating attractions worth visiting.
The staff were exceptionally attentive, courteous, and professional throughout our stay. We were warmly welcomed at reception by Can, who was highly professional, helpful, and always available, as well as Mina, whose friendliness and warm smile made us feel at home from the very beginning.

We would also like to thank the entire concierge and security teams, the houskeeping for the very good service, the breakfast staff, especially Ozge and her colleagues, and the evening restaurant team, including Ramadan, Hussain, Usaman, and the rest of the staff, for their outstanding service and hospitality.
I cannot finish without saying hello to the cats at the entrance of the hotel, whose calm and soothing presence added a special touch to our stay. They were truly delightful and contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. 🐱

• The housekeeping is terrible or rather, non-existent. They vacuumed only once in seven days, they just bring clean towels but don't actually clean.

The Wi-Fi signal is very poor by the pool.

There is a bad smell in the hallways-some sort of fragrance, perhaps used to mask the smell of cigarettes.

Also, while at the pool, we were asked to give up our sun loungers to make way for VIP guests, even though regular hotel guests aren't allowed to reserve loungers. It feels quite discriminatory. We refused.

We enjoyed excellent massage from YANTI and UFUK. Spa was very welcoming and lovely.

The restaurants, pool area ,location, and reception staff were all good.

The hotel locates at a nice neighborhood though it needs some walking from the metro station and the Taksim district. Other major touristic sites are within short rides by taxi / Uber.

The room is clean and very spacious. There's even a bit of the view of the bosphorus strait. Staff is very helpful and actively provides me a local travel card when I asked about local transport (unloaded and has to be returned upon check out). The breakfast however was a little bit underwhelming in varieties compared to those from other hotels of same ranks.

The entire staff at this property is exceptional. Two people clearly stand out:

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and valued by Rufat, General Manager.

His warmth and attention to detail are reflected throughout the entire hotel and the wonderful team he leads. We never felt like just another guest, we felt special throughout our entire stay.

Thank you, Rufat, for making our time in Istanbul so memorable. We are already looking forward to returning!

Emir, at the club level lounge, is truly exceptional. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, taken care of, and had everything we needed.

What really sets him apart is his attitude. He always has a genuine smile, is incredibly warm and welcoming, and somehow seems to anticipate what you need before you even have to ask. No request ever feels like an inconvenience to him.

He really does represent hospitality at its absolute best and is exactly the kind of person you remember long after a trip is over.

You are truly outstanding team. We look forward to seeing all of you again.

Club lounge disappointing, lack of staff , lack of seating, lack of food choices , lack of drink choices, everything was empty,no juice , no glasses, no ice, only one staff running around , and he did a great job on his own and should be commended for his efforts , Emir you are an asset to the hotel,and they need to realize that before you leave , I've travelled many places and been Hyatt Member since 2007, and this is the worst club lounge , management need to take charge and start getting things right here ,a very disappointed long serving customer

During my recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul, I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service in the lounge, thanks to Emir. His professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality truly elevated my experience. Emir anticipated guests' needs effortlessly and maintained a welcoming, immaculate environment at all times. Employees like him are a true asset to the Grand Hyatt brand.

Enjoyed our stay there and the Regency club was lovely. Emir in particular was very sweet and helpful!

Wonderful experience this time. Nice upgraded Suite, Gym was excellent as always,
We were surprised by the lounge staff specially Emir, he was on top of the situation every day , human when the lounge was crowded he was running around getting chairs for the overflow.
SERVICE has been amazing throughout.
