.3mile walk to the light rail and 10min drive to HS for a football camp.
The location was quiet and safe and lots of near by things to walk to.
The location of this hotel is great. However, when I opened my "hotel" room door, which was outside the main building and very motel-like. I was very shocked. I felt like I was just delivered a bait and switch. The room was very old 2 double beds, that looked like they were years old, and I hadn't seen that thin or hard of a mattress in years. These were not the pictures on the websites. We went to the front desk and asked if there was another room, and we were told they were sold out. The only consolation was the front desk worker's honesty about how all of the pictures on the website were of the few updated rooms and clearly knew understood why were not happy. We stayed, but only because it was late and we had an early morning. Be aware that if you book, you better check to see if it is one of the updated rooms or be prepared for a low-level Motel 6 room.
Convenient to downtown bellevue
It was incredibly noisy being next to the highway with seemingly no soundproofing. The people in the room next to me I could hear everything they did from the time they got to their room at 11 pm. I could even hear the microwave turn on and running in addition to their talking and watching tv all night because there was no soundproofing.
The room smelled bad. The cleaning was not great. The room was renovated somewhat but was in need of a substantial renovation e.g.: replace a damaged bathtub. The photos online are AI. Much more dingy in person.
Good location. Convenient for using the light rail. Front desk staff are always friendly and informative. Sarah who checked us in was excellent.
The air conditioning unit was very loud. The refrigerator did not work very well. Thick ice built up inside.
The lobby.
The room. Stains, a lot of wear and tear.
We stayed here before and after our cruise to Alaska. We highly recommend Hotel 116. It is in a perfect location even if you do not have a car for your trip. Walkable to the light rail, restaurants, shops and nice grocery stores. It is affordable, in a prine location, has a great atmosphere with amazing and helpful staff. If they have availability they will even let you check in early with no extra charge, this worked out great for us the day we got off the ship. The rooms are nice, spacious, quiet and very clean. We always choose Hotel 116 for this area and will definitely will be back again.
Location! Next door to Overlake Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. Across from Whole Foods Grocery and Trader Joe.
The location is very convenient and surrounding facilities are a bonus.
Could be a little cleaner in some areas.
Hotel is looking tired
Didn't get a breakfast
The room had stained. Carpet, a sawed up ceiling, poorly patched holes in the wall, slow draining sink and tub
Staff were friendly, coffee shop next door
The hotel is very outdated and more a motel than hotel, the beds were not comfortable, the mattresses are too big for the base. The pool water was clean but not the pool interior I wouldn’t enter that pool. I don’t feel the photos are a good reflection of what the hotel actually looks like I was disappointed.
