Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

Very friendly staff and very comfortable room. The breakfast provided had something for everyone. The location is in the heart of downtown and the waterfront and Citadel are a short walk from the hotel.

The best hotel choice we made on a two week journey.
Pros:

Staff was phenomenal! They showed us how to get to various cultural sites, gardens, and restaurants. They provided coins and soap for laundry. Parking under the hotel was easy. Location gave us quick access to restaurants, museums, the public garden, and views of the city. The breakfast set-up was excellent - varied, clean, tasty, and open good hours.

La situation géographique et la gentillesse du personnel

Cons:

Rapport qualité-prix excécrable. Mon automobile a été stationnée devant l'hôtel pour la durée du séjour. À 27$ par jour, je trouve que c'est nettement exagéré quand on considère le prix de la chambre. De plus, le bain ne s'écoulait que lentement et difficilement. Petit déjeuner moyen pour un hôtel qui charge aussi cher pour une chambre. De plus l'insonorisation est inexistante. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans le corridor et on voit même la lumière du corridor quand la porte est fermée. Franchement, à 600$ par jour, stationnement compris, c'est vraiment exagéré.

Fantastic Customer Service
Pros:

We’ve been staying at Cambridge Suites for many years and always received good customer care but this time was exceptional! Charvi was welcoming and attentive from the moment I walked in (even helping another guest while she was checking me in!). She was efficient and accommodated our room needs without hesitation. So personable-she really made our stay!

Wonderful stay with convenient location to all the things in Halifax
Pros:

Excellent breakfast included- convenient location, comfortable beds and lounge furniture- rooftop patio, hot tub and sauna- complimentary water, coffee and tea all day-hotel was always busy and seemed full but was not loud- we had a very nice corner suite(512) looking towards the water and heard almost no street noise. Front desk arranged a car service for airport ride day of check out. The bathroom toiletries are the best!

Cons:

It could be not at the top of the hill! And perhaps some areas of shade on the rooftop.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Wir hatten im 3.OG Zimmer 313 Suite mit Kingsize Bett für 2 Nächte. Sehr geräumiges Apartment. Sauberes Bad. Sehr bequemes Bett. Gutes Frühstück. Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage (etwas eng) für 27€/Tag. Lage vom Hotel ist TOP zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten - etwa 5 Minuten zur Waterfront (Rückweg etwas länger, da es bergauf geht). 2 Minuten zu Pubs und Restaurant TOP.

Cons:

Frühstücksraum etwas zu klein für die vielen Hotelgäste. Wir hatten aber kein Problem (Wartezeit)

A truly delightful two night stay
Pros:

From the point of arrival until departure, nothing was a problem at this well appointed and professionally staffed hotel. I had advised in advance we were celebrating an anniversary. We were given a harbour facing room, 2 chocolate bars, and in the fridge was a dessert to acknowledge our celebration.
The room is generously proportioned, the bed is very comfortable and the room is quiet.
The morning we were leaving, we collected a hire car. The hotel reserved a parking spot at the front for us to park the car and pack before checking out. This made the process so much easier than it otherwise would have been.

Cons:

More than 2 washing machines in the laundry would be useful in a hotel this size

A wonderful stay at our HALIFAX getaway.

Loved our stay at Cambridge Suites Halifax. LOCATION: Excellent for walking anywhere downtown & Waterfront. ROOMS: Big one bedroom, quiet. STAFF; Very helpful. CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT: A breeze. VALUE: A but expensive but to be expected summer season. BREAKFAST: Excellent.
