Great location, dog friendly
This is my first time traveling with a dog. The dog friendly room had full carpet. The odour coming from this room was noticeable. No room that’s dog friendly should have carpet. Carpet needs to be removed.
One of the women who cooked was compassionate and kind. She has a nose ring if you want to identify her. She knew I was celiac, with limited food choices from the buffet. She made sure I got sausages when there were very few to have, due to the broken oven.
Also, the office staff were great. The printer that was available to guests quit working just as I needed to print out the form from Vital Statistics. My Dad had just died. They were very responsive, and tried to make me feel better.
I'm celiac, so my breakfast options were quite limited. I was there for 2 weeks. I could eat the eggs, sausage or bacon, and the yogurt. The oven broke and it was taking a very long time to cook the sausages. And after a while, there was only fat-free yogurt to choose - not my favorite.
After 2 weeks, the saltiness of the eggs and meat became difficult. But in all fairness, I was going through a difficult time.
Breakfast was good. Appreciated hours provided. Cleanliness and options.

I saw a fellow traveler refilling a reused 500 ml single-use plastic water bottle at the water station outside the breakfast room. She placed the bottle’s opening directly under the spout, making contact where people normally fill cups (which were available), meaning the part her mouth had touched was touching the spout. It struck me as very unsanitary and a potential way to spread illnesses like Covid. I’m surprised this setup is still in use post-Covid. I mentioned it to the front desk employee, but she didn’t seem too concerned. It appeared be refilled

Bed was very comfortable. Shower had good pressure.
The room was clean.
Being next to a major road, it was surprisingly quiet.
Didn't realize our room was in a separate building from the rest of the hotel. It was minor, but it was an inconvenience to go for breakfast.
