We loved everything! The design, the location, the view from the room and the breakfast. The service was extraordinarily. Alexandra was amazing, she helped us with a problem we had and was so efficient and caring. We’ll never forget our wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Perfect location, beautiful hotel, super comfy beds, wonderfully appointed and quiet rooms. Some of the staff were exceptional - William in particular was so smiley and friendly and so helpful when we asked him for advice on where to go and what to do. What a joy he was!

Location was great. Near the river and the action but still quiet. And the staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Made dinner reservations for us. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety.

The breakfast was buffet and a good choice. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location close to the river and ideal for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nous avions une chambre avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Douro (chambre 16). Malgré le fait que la vitre de notre porte était brisée, on nous a offert une bouteille de vin en guise d'excuse. Ça ne changeait pas le fait que nous pouvions quand même sortir sur notre magnifique terrasse et relaxer en regardant le Douro

There was a lovely variety of items for breakfast and the staff on at breakfast were efficient and helpful. Our room was great and very clean. The hotel location was ideal for walking everywhere.

what a sweet little hotel in the perfect location. It exceeded our expectations on every level every staff member went out of their way. The location was great.

We were welcomed and served by a gracious and helpful staff - Guilerme and Bruna in the morning and Jacquelina in the afternoon - who made breakfast to order as we requested, mailed our postcards, and even arranged a ride to the airport. Our room had a view of the Infante Henry park, Palacio do Bolsa and Mercado. Our tall windows opened for a full view and fresh air, with chairs we could move to sit and watch out the window. The hotel and our room were modern, stylish, with comfortable bed, walk-in hot shower with both overhead rain and wand attachment. The breakfast was a tasty assortment of fresh fruit, breads, pastry, cheese & meat. Coffee made fresh to order - whether American or latte or mochachino. The Exmo hotel has a perfect location... Just 10 minutes walk downhill from Sao Bento Station. Exmo is right above the Ribeira (just a block down to the Douro waterfront - where we took a river tour of the 6 bridges) and close to the city center. We had to walk uphill to Guided Walking Tours but then downhill to get back to the hotel when our legs were tired! We waited till our last day to enjoy our welcome glass of port - and they let my friend substitute a glass of dry wine as she doesn't like sweet drinks. We feel like we lucked out of the best possible hotel with the nicest staff! This is such a great hotel that it would be better to change your travel dates than settle for other accommodations.
