All was good other than the food.
Pros:

Location is great, staff friendly,

Cons:

The evening meal was average, breakfast was ok, wood heaters in main bar and dinning didn't work very well at all it was very cold.

Pros:

Great little pub stay, on our travels.

Cons:

The noise level, we had children with us and stayed on a Saturday night (yes not smart) after the pub closed patrons stayed on and were loud.

Great value holiday stay
Pros:

Lovely, helpful staff member. Wish I could remember her name. She had dark hair. Room was small but clean. Shared bathrooms and these were fairly clean too. Lovely hot showers. A light breakfast was included. Overall, great value for money.

Cons:

There was a broken lamp in the room. Could have been easily replaced, and I had to prop it against the wall to get it to stay. Bed was a little too firm for my liking. That's all.

Please fix the batteries in the fire alarm!
Pros:

I was expecting a budget night stay, and that’s what it was. Good meal downstairs, nice to be able to grab some toast and coffee for breakfast and very friendly staff.

Cons:

The heater in my room was broken (I had to steal one from another room) but my main gripe was a fire alarm in the corridor beeping every few minutes all night (assume the batteries were going flat). Just couldn’t sleep and as the building has high ceilings couldn’t get to it. Combined with a pretty uncomfortable bed, it made for a very long and sleepless night.

Always nice to stay at this pub.
Pros:

St Mary's pub is lovely place to stay - basic rooms but clean and tidy. Good food, beer and free 8 ball - perfect.

Pros:

Good location to hikes we were going to do next day and the one we did that day.
Meal wasnt too bad.

Cons:

An hour wait for a meal need more staff, customers smoking inside of bar yuck
Ceiling light did not work.
Lamp did however.
Beds not overly comfy.

This was a cosy, hospitable experience. There was generous breakfast and fridge to make snacking easy and keep costs dow
Pros:

There were beautiful features of the town and building, the front door is not to be missed!!
St Patrick’s walk is very nearby and breathtaking.
