Staff and location and that old world vibe
My room was very noisy I expected some but it kept me awake Ear plugs on and I managed ! Also was told I was upgraded but I had stairs to the bedroom which was difficult for me maybe discuss that with patrons before sending them to the room I was a bit disappointed ☹️

Location is perfect for Southern Cross station and a lovely card and chocolate on arrival was very thoughtful .
The building is beautiful and in a fantastic location. We were on the top floor and it was very quiet.
The pictures of the room I selected showed a bath but when I asked our room did not have a bath. The receptionist was lovely and moved us to a room with a bath however there was hair in the bath and water splashes as well as dirty black marks on the bath room mirror. The staircase had not been vacuumed and the blinds had dirty marks on them. I had stayed there many years ago and loved it but unfortunately this time it felt old and dirty.

The location was fabulous next to the Southern cross station main transport hub and Woolworths Metro for groceries. The place was well equipped with all the basic amenities, and a plenty of space with our upgrade to 1 bedroom. The gem was also a friendly lady at the reception super welcoming & hot jacuzzi after a long city walk!
Cleaning could have been better!
The location is fantastic, the room was lovely with plenty of space and the blackout blinds were a blessing after a long trip. Their customer service was brilliant.
