Een eersteklas hotel waar je naar terug verlangt.
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel in een parkachtig landgoed is prachtig. De superiorkamers zijn ruim en comfortabel. Op ons maakte het ontbijt grote indruk; de op verzoek gemaakte ontbijtgerechten zijn vakkundig bereid en alle ingrediënten zijn van hoge kwaliteit. Alles ademt hoge klasse.

Cons:

We waren aanwezig in een zeer warme periode (dagen rond de 30 graden). Doordat - zoals bij veel hotels in Duitsland - geen airco aanwezig is, was het op de kamers te warm. Een goedbedoelde ventilator doet wel iets, maar lost het niet op. Dit speelt uiteraard maar enkele weken per jaar; de meeste tijd van het jaar is het hier ongetwijfeld goed toeven.
In de verblijfsperiode was het restaurantdeel dat een Michelinster heeft gesloten, maar de bistro leverde voldoende kwaliteit. Als het klasserestaurant weer open is en de tropische dagen voorbij, komen we zeker terug.

Ein Hotelaufenthalt, der uns sehr gut gefallen hat und wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Schöne Lage inmitten der Natur.
Ein hervorragendes Frühstück Ruhige Zimmer.

Traumaufenthalt mit Einschränkungen
Pros:

Frühstück sehr gut, aber für jedes Eck Butter musste man fragen. Der nette Hahn im Frühstücksraum!

Cons:

Zimmer nicht wie bestellt behindertenrerecht. Keine Klimaanlage, keine Minibar oder Kühlschrank im Zimmer, nicht bestelltes Wecken am Morgen, die Kellner (Halbpension) brachten nicht wie bestellt und hatten mehrere(!) Fehler in der Rechnung.

Goed, maar jammer van de eerste avond betreffende het diner.
Cons:

De bediening in het restaurant. Ons hondje mocht het restaurant de eerste avond niet in. De tweede avond wel. Vreemd en dat was niet de afspraak omdat wij vantevoren hierover hadden gebeld en ons was bevestigd dat ze mee mocht. Niet echt sympathiek omdat wij de eerste avond als paria's in een bijzaaltje werden geplaatst voor het diner, met hond maar zonder overige gasten en sfeer. Dat was echt een tegenvaller.
