Pros:

Die Lage ist einmalig und das nahegelegene Parkhaus bequem, um sein Auto sicher zu parken und das Gepäck schnell in das Hotel zu bringen. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr herzlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit begrüßt.

Cons:

Beim sonst leckeren und reichhaltigem Frühstück haben wir Rührei mit Speck vermisst. Es könnte zwischendurch der Tisch abgeräumt werden.

Charming old hotel in convenient location
Pros:

Location worked well for us. We were traveling by train and it was about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. It is in an old building and very charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Some people might not like hearing the church bells. The church is close, the bells are loud, and they start ringing at 7:45 am. I am up early, so it wasn’t a problem for me. It just added to the charm. My husband is not an early riser and he was not so charmed by them.

Pros:

Die Lage ist super, sehr nah am Münsterplatz ca. 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß.
Es wurde ein kostenloses Ticket für den Nahverkehr im Schwarzwald zur Verfügung gestellt.
Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Ruhige Lage.

Decent place in central location.
Pros:

The location is very central. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the center is easily walkable. You get a ticket for public transport (we didn’t use it though) and a discount card for the parking garage nearby, which is few minutes walk from the hotel. Personnel was nice.

Cons:

Our room didn’t have airconditioning but the electric fan helped a bit. The room could’ve been cleaner.. there were socks from the previous renters I suppose and also there was only one toilet paper roll.

Lovely friendly hotel in good location in the old town

Great location in the old town, not too noisy at night, easy access to the station, free access to
Cold drinking water, tea and hot drinks, good sized room, very helpful friendly staff. There was a lift too which was a bonus. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Freiburg.

Although there was a fan
In the room it was incredibly hot and the pillows were not very comfortable.

Nuestra primera opción si volvemos a Friburgo
Pros:

Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno casco antiguo y en una calle llena de restaurantes, perfecta para recorrer la ciudad a pie y disfrutar del ambiente de la zona.

Queremos destacar también la amabilidad del personal, que nos hizo sentir muy bien atendidos desde el primer momento. Tanto la habitación como el resto de las instalaciones estaban muy limpias y en muy buen estado.

Sin duda, si volviéramos a la ciudad, este hotel sería nuestra primera opción.

Cons:

Como único aspecto menos positivo, coincidimos con una ola de calor y la habitación no disponía de aire acondicionado, aunque el hotel tuvo el detalle de proporcionarnos un ventilador. Entendemos que, al no ser una región donde estas temperaturas extremas sean habituales, no es algo generalizado, pero en esos días se echó de menos.

Leckeres Frühstück, mit wirklich frisch gekochten Eiern!
Die Kunstausstattung im Hotel fand ich auch toll und Abwechslungsreich.

Cons:

Am Wochenende war es sehr heiß. Dadurch waren auch die Zimmer sehr warm. Offene Fenster waren zwar möglich, aber dann störte der Lärm der Innenstadtlage. Außerdem fiel der Aufzug am Samstag aus und ging vor der Abreise am Sonntag nicht mehr in Betrieb ...
