The rooms were spacious and self sufficient with the kitchen layout. The overall stay at the candlewood was good.
The location was somewhat dark in the neighborhood and the women at the front desk weren't welcoming.
Location is not in the best neighborhood. Minimal parking in front of the building. Advertised to have 24/7 airport shuttle available which is why this hotel was our choice. On arrival was told the shuttle only ran every hour starting at 4-8am and then again at 5 pm. When we went down to get the shuttle at 430 am we’re told the next was not until 6 am and we had to take an uber. Rooms were somewhat clean but smelled. Smell was worse when the air conditioner kicked on. Would not stay here again in the future.
I loved my room !
The carpet as you’re walking to your room needs to be redone or torn up. It messed of the aesthetics of the actual room. I was afraid of what the room looked like because of the carrot leading into your room. The carpet is coming up I tripped over it a few times waking back and fourth.
Room was nice and clean
Total rip off/bait and switch - completely non-transparent about pricing, fees and costs. They say they're "pet friendly", but when we arrived they charged us 150 USD extra (on top of and more than our room rate we paid!!) for our small dog. Completely unapologetic and surprise high fee. Not cool. Also, no prices on anything for sale in the canteen - $8 for a Coke, charged at checkout!! They should say they charge high surprise fees for pets (it was not friendly). Also, staff when we checked out was terse and made it obvious she didn't want to print my receipt.

Not too far from the airport.
I called the hotel from the airport thinking I could have the shuttle pick me up. I was told you need to make reservations to do that. There is nothing on the website that says you need to call and make reservations for a shuttle pickup. I ended up paying $40.00 for an Uber.
