Disappointing
Pros:

The proximity of the hotel to the St James Theatre

Cons:

We were in room 720. Every time we enter the room there was a strong musty smell,
The breakfast buffet was a disaster. Every item was either cold or lukewarm. We a complaint was made to the staff they seem uninterested.

Pricing of the food vs quality and quantity. Shower pressure was a little low. Car park is very small but it is the other drivers which causes problems

Left in the dark!!
Pros:

The facilities were fine but my whole experience was soured.

Cons:

They informed me when I checked in they were scheduled to turn the power off overnight for maintenance. I use a sleeping aid that requires electricity but was assured I wouldn't be affected. Just after I went to sleep I was woken because the power went off. I contemplated getting dressed to find out what was going on but of the the elevators weren't working, I was on the 6th floor, and they hadn't supplied torches to guests. This outage lasted about 10 minutes while a generator took over. When it swapped back in the morning I was in the shower, suddenly in complete darkness. There was no mention of compensation or anything. They should have advised booked guests in advance, something I suggested for an apparent second outage on the 21st. The manager looked at me like I was crazy. No idea of customer service.
